Life is full of regrets isn't it? Judas, of course, hanged himself after betraying the Messiah, and, whilst sopping short of that, Germstain Defoe is apparently keen to put his head in the Upton Park noose after expressing regret about his infamous transfer request and expressing his love for West Ham.
And why exactly? Because in a World Cup year, he is desperate to find himself a berth at a club where he will see first team football. Yes he loves West Ham, in exactly the same way as all mercenaries love the nation that pays their wages!
Do we want him back? Personally, I can't see the point because Allardyce won't use him. 4-6-0 will revert to 4-5-1 at some point, and Defoe is not tall enough to get on the end of 38 crosses into the box is he?
What did Jesus say as the noose tightened around Judas's neck? "Father, let him rot in hell!" And Defoe should be left to rot in Tottenham's reserves.
Comical, at no time has Defoe stated his desire to play for West Ham, he has a place at Tottenham and will stay for now, why oh why would anyone want to go back to west Ham after escaping in the 1st place?
ReplyDeletegood post h f atleast he wont get any heating bills in hell hes 31 now ok he could go on for a few years but signing him now will be a typical quick fix we need players for the future maybe someone in there early 20s whos a bit of a gamble from the championship would be better than judas for a few years with no sell on fee coyi
ReplyDeleteJERMAIN not Jermaine FFS
ReplyDeleteSo bitter!!! Comical! Ha ha
ReplyDeleteHave you read the bible ? I'm a season ticket holder and a proud christian. I find your article a load of rubbish. Jesus never said such rubbish , he even forgave Judas you Muppet ! As for Defoe id have him back any day. like the lord said before if you repent you shall be forgiving. Come home jermain as all forgiving.amen!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately this is where West Ham are. We're only going to get the has beens, traitors, not prem standard players. We can't attract the players we actually want. People can bang on about getting someone like Ba in etc... but if they don't want to come, we can't force them. Defoe unfortunately could be the best we can get. He'd have to score a lot of goals before I'd applaud him on though.
ReplyDeleteGet Fabio Quagliarella instead. As you state so accurately, why would we want Judas back after years of NO apology. It sounds way too artificial and fake. You wanted out then. Now you are reaping what you sowed.
ReplyDeleteYes I have 1222 and it doesn't say what Jesus said to God as Judas writhed and twisted as the noose tightened around his throat. Your God let him die though, didn't he? And Jesus didn't appear before him to tell him he was forgiven and that he should not feel responsible because it was all as ordained by the Father, did he? Did Jesus blame Judas on the cross? No, he called out to God and asked why his father had forsaken him, so why didn't Jesus pop into a dream and say, "Look Judas mate, it was my Dad's fault, not yours. And because of you, the stain of original sin has been removed, so don't beat yourself up about this, in fact pat yourself on the back and say well done." Nope, he let the guy hang himself instead!
ReplyDeleteWhy are you trying to upset people now through there faiths and beliefs? Unbelievable!
DeleteSo why you first write "father let him rot in hell"? Then The write the truth? Because you are a fraud and looked it up after somebody pointed the correct facts to you. You are a fraud and just write rubbish . You are lucky god loves you
Delete2031, it's not nice to say their (note the spelling) faiths are unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteI didn't, grow up you clown! And just for the record spam dangler my phone auto changes spelling, find it quite funny when you pick people up on spelling when you have made numerous mistakes in blogs before only to be told by people who respond and then change it! It's not an English class xx

DeleteUpto writing this you have amassed 62 comments over your last 10 blogs on your west ham site! Very poor indeed, some way behind your Leeds following I must say old chap! Evidently says you would be lost without Leeds! Bless x

DeleteIn your article why have you written "whilst sopping short of that"? Instead of "stopping"?
