'Arry and Tottenham Dancing To The Same Old Tune

Here we go again. Not content with a remarkable second half of the season, suggesting perhaps that they do indeed have a squad capable of competing with the best, 'Arry and Tootatthem are installing the revolving door in the dressing ahead of a summer of more in and outs than Alex managed in the whole of "A Clockwork Orange".

Apparently ' Arry has his eyes on £30m of "talent" but, after shelling out £50m to stay in the Prem, Levy is insisting he sells half the squad first. That will suit 'Arry of course. For some reason, the more deals the better in 'Arry's world. And any suggestion that he gets a cut from each deal is obviously as wide of the mark as a Defoe penalty!

Will they never learn? I'm having money on 'Arry being the first management casualty of the new season. Every year is the same - Tootatthem collect together a dressing room of strangers and are surprised when it takes two months before they can play together as a team.

Go on 'Arry, go for it! There's always the Pompey job when Levy pulls the rug from under your feet in mid November!

  2. I think your find he will be selling the dead wood and not the first team players, unlike last year. Therefore we make money on players that are not even fringe players and bring in decent players that will bring something to the squad.

Last years mess will not be repeated. I feel only 3/4 players are needed this time out

  4. Your intelligence and foresight absolutely astound me? Could I buy one of those 'Ars5enal sponsored crystal BALLS' - and then shove it up your Ar5e!! Do you people have nothing better to do with your time than 'crouch on all fours' and attempt to type with your 4 inbred thumbs absolute rubbish... I hope this is to get some kind of reaction as if it isn't then look into the mirror, make promise to yourself never to contribute to any kind of forum again as you make the world a much much sadder place to live!! I bet you stayed up all night in your cage situated on the very classy 145L portaloo to think of that one..... If you have bet money on Harry being sacked season better get 'frightening old ladies' into reneweing their drives - looks like you may need the money!!!

  5. Thankyou Mystic Meg.
Some people really do have a weird sense of reality. I mean in my world no-one has been sold yet and some youngster from Arsenal has joined the reserves. Other than that anything being said is pretty vague or just the usual linkage to all and sundry and many of our player sbeing talked about as targets for other clubs.
This bloke has us - Bought and sold 20 players, in the bottom 6 after 10 games, and the manager sacked.
Don't you just have to question your sanity when writing these crap blogs that pollute Newsnow?

  6. Your correct it is predictable. Almost as predictable as no matter how bad we r for the season we'll still Finnish above you!

  7. he's already stated he only needs three players and that he will only be selling players who ahve not impressed him, thus this report was a waste of your time. opinions for opinions sake i think here.

  8. You just can't stop writing about spurs. I really think you're a spurs fan. If not why don't you stick to writing about you're poxy little bankrupt club.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I would worry about your own side. By end of transfer window you will have no Robert Green, Matthew Upson, Lucas Neill and Dean Ashton. Your club will be bankrupt and you will be down just like Newcastle this year

  10. now, now Hammersfan....chin my old son! I'm sure there must be something of interest in your own club for you to think and write about isn't there?

or is it just that you are a closet 'yid' and you care deeply about our transfer policy?

keep looking on the positive side and maybe, just maybe you'll buy a new player as well! I'm sure the toontanic will be selling off loads at rock bottom prices to suit your wallet :)

  13. I would sing the home & away song but why bother, surely you have something else to do other than keep writing about my beloved Spurs. Yes we did spend £50 mill, yes we did finish just above you, yes we will spend more in the summer and yest we will again finish above you.

  14. you know we belong together,
you and I forever and ever.
    No matter where you are,
    you're my guiding star.

And from the very first moment I saw you
    there was such emotion
    I'm walking on air,
just to know (Just to know)
You are there (You are there)

    Chorus:
    Hold me in your arms
    Don't let me go
    I want to stay forever
    Closer each day....
    Home and away...

  15. If you sign Ruud surely NEIGHbours would be the more appropriate song guys. Cue 'Arry after four defeats in four games, "Why the long face Ruud?"

  16. If you sign Ruud, you should sign Boa. Every carthorse needs a donkey to keep it company!

  18. Harry will be trying to keep our first team together which makes sense given our run of form. Just a couple of additions needed.

So the major changes will be among the squad players. Harry bought very well in the January window too so I am sure with the whole summer he will do so again.

  19. de santos apparently going ?
is it me or is this talent being pushed out?

we need a serious talented attack and not the misfiring gun ,,,,which bullet to use?

    defence was top five

redknapp is in a very interesting position,as the cards are reshuffled to make a top hand,

    7 card brag.....aces,king etc,

    and the wildcards?....time is now

    or forget and accept

  20. Hammers-so called fan, you missed this one whilst arguing with the spares kids

West Ham United can confirm the club has been sold in an agreement that will secure its long-term future and allow it to remain a force in the top-flight of English football.
CB Holding, the majority of which is owned by Straumur-Burdaras Investment bank, has completed the purchase of West Ham United and its subsidiaries. As a result, Owner and Chairman Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson and his Vice-Chairman Asgeir Fridgeirsson have stood down with the club's best wishes.

  21. Again, please try posting using West Ham's name in the title instead of Tottenham's. You are very sad and desperate.

New broom etc. and lots of spin but the key question remains unanswered; does Andrew Berhardt have a tranny?

  23. 11.18, it's been ages since I used Tootatthem in the headline and I knew you Cockyfools were missing me!

  24. Sheesh mate, 1 or 2 posts about spurs constitutes banter, but you really are obsessed. your article lacks any sense of humour. never mind a quote from either Harry or Levy.seek help my friend. seek help.
p.s a little while ago you were real smug about being in front of us, not so loud at the minute are you?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Scott, joburg, I don't ever remember being smug about being in front of you - given what you spent, it is a huge achievement for us to finish level with you playing our Under 20 side!

Seems to me that you Cockyfools are anxious, otherwise you would simply ignore the article. But that revolving door is being fitted to the dressing room as we speak and 'Arry is a bit perturbed about the trap door planned for the area just behind his desk!

  26. lets all laugh at spurs8 June 2009 at 18:17

im a man city fan and jusy come across your blog excellent article redknapp britains best used car salesman will no doubt rip spurs squad to shreds out with the young in with the old retires in three years (if he dosent junp ship back to portsmouth first they have more money you know )very funny blogs hope you do well well next year hammers and join us in finishing higher than the spuds lmao

  27. What is it with compulsion/fixation with the NORTH London Club Tottenham? Surely you have someone closer to home you can direct all this one sided bile towards? I am a season ticket holder at the Lane and you lot mean the same that Fulham, QPR and Brentford mean to me to me just come from EAST London and not WEST London. My only rival is ar5ena1, you lot are just another two fixtures in the season. Turned into 6 easy points recently though. When will you turn all that venom (or is it jealousy?) into a performance?

    Ta ta for now

  28. spammers are so deluded always below us no matter what, done the double over ye,

    ReplyDelete
  29. 19:08 'Fraid to say that the Arse see Tottesham Hotspuds in the same way you apparently see us ie not on the radar. You're hardly a threat to them despite spending a few quid more on players, managers, coaching staff, directors of football etc

20: 28 Despite the 'double' you finished above us on goal difference. Last season despite our atrocious form you finished below us. But I save the best till last - in 2006 you failed to get into the Champion's League, because we beat you on the last day!! That to me is worth several 'doubles' and a cup final.

The funniest thing though, is you had to get an ex WHU manager (many would say WHU reject) to save you this season!!

CHAMPION'S LEAGUE? YER 'AVIN A LARF!!

  30. Imagine going to Primark and buying a Green Irish jumper, wearing for a year, finding out it doesn't fit, then taking it back to Primark and getting more money back then you paid for it. Fantastic. Now Imagine buying a black jumper, finding out it fit ok but Primark were willing to buy it back from you for more than they sold it to you.

    Key:

    Primark - Tottenham

  32. how does it feel to be a feeder club, might be interedted in upson an green maybe ...........

  33. MAN CITY GIVING IT THE BIG ONE BUT WHEN DID YOU LAST DO ANYTHING?IT MAY NOT COME TO FRUITION EVEN WITH THE ARABS MONEY,IF YOU WIN A TROPHY EVERY YEAR FOR 20 YEARS YOU WILL STILL BE BEHIND MANCHESTERS BIG RED CLUB.I DONT RATE MARK HUGHES SO WE SHALL SEE,YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.TO BE A RICH MANS TOY BIT LIKE A MISTRESS REALLY [CAN BE LONELY AND UNHAPPY]BUT A WHORE IS A WHORE.

  34. One thing I notice about West Ham fans, they use other clubs to try and run down the likes of Tottenham and to a lesser extent, Man City.
ABove is a prime example...you will never be better than United...to City fans!
You use Arsenal with Tottenham too.
Here is an idea, stop blowing the trumpet of other clubs and try to back your won...oh wait, that would mean you think West Ham are bigger than the likes of SPurs and Cithy, which they clearly aren't, never have been and never will be!

    ReplyDelete
  35. lol and if Tottenham win the league cup for 20 years in a row you will still be behind Arsenal! Ahh, good to hear the Tottenham fans who still believe were a feeder club. Please define to me what a feeder club is, im guessing you mean a club that bigger teams lurch off, may i mention Berbatov, Robbie Keane, Michael Carrick. yes you may argue you got good money for them, but since when has money bought Tottenham happiness? Do what your club always does, ruin prospects such as Bentley, Bale, Huddlestone, Taarabt, Boateng, Pavyluchenko and probably O'Hara given a few years. Mind you, Pav will probably be back after the season. with that in mind, Tottenham remind me of the ignorant, dickhead boyfriend who dumps his girlfriend because he feels he's too good for her, yet when he sees her with another man, he begs her back, and surely enough gets her, because it turns out shes a stupid girl.
