I'm So Proud Of This Pile Of Crap!

So anyways, I 'ad a good gander at the motor, took it for a test drive, kicked the tyres and thought, this is one shite motor. No MOT, no service 'istory, no bleedin' engine as good as, so what choice did I 'ave? I 'ad to buy it didn't I cos I like the colour! Anyways, I'm gonna let the missus drive it aint I?

That seems to be the logic behind the Sullivan and Gold purchase!

I'm just gonna give the benefit of the doubt and hope they get some things right..at least they're not in debt..at least they identify maintaining some sort of stability in terms of managers..at least they identify the fact that we have a thin and imbalanced squad of too many midfielders, too little strikers, and too little depth in our defense..at least they identified working on the new stadium (even though that's the last thing on my mind)..and at least they said that none of the best players will leave...

I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed..walk out in the snow to my literature class, and continue analyzing Songs of the Innocent by William Blake, instead of Songs of the Experienced, so I don't have to face the harsh reality of knowing that this will take time and it may not all work out.

Come on you Irons..FFS

Very good Kareem. What immortal hand or eye dare frame thy perfect symmetry? I've always been more a tyger man than a lamb!

Reading between the lines, Gold and Sullivan got control of West Ham for a measly 50 million pounds. Let's condider why this is a very good deal for them despite the debts that the Club is in. The Davids can have a go in turning it around financially in the next four years. If successful, they will make West Ham (a London Club with massive support) a goldmine for them. Then they will use their option to also buy on the cheap the rest of the shares.

If they are not successful, and since they will have TOTAL control of the decision making, they will probably revert to their old tactics when they were mates and co-shareholders with Terrence Brown. West Ham produces good players and that is really their safety net for their relatively small investment.

What is most disappointing was to hear them say that there are no more money available and that they will have to raise that from other investors. What they haven't told us of course is at what price would the other investors be invited to join in. I suspect at a hefty premium for benefit of the "lead investors".

Having said all that, I pray to God I am wrong! It almost brought tears to my eyes to hear them say how dedicated West Ham fans they have been all their lives. It is really nice to hear but I am sorry, I don't buy any of that! They may be fans, but they are first and foremost shrewed business men looking to make a handsome return. If successful, and I really hope they are, I predict that they will sell the Club at a huge profit and move on.

Haha, I am usually a tyger myself; however, there are times of extreme stress and despair where I only can only be a lamb.

Time to dig up those Dux interviews he gave other sites!

....and you forgot to mention the other two having a gander at the motor and how you had to fight 'em off HF.

Just a thought,

Do you think we should have a whip round for Duxbury?

Duxbury if you are reading this, have you thought of a job as a spin doctor for the BNP?

I think this is about your level and wish you well for the future, I will also miss all of the bullsh*t, I will just have to make do with the petty lies I get from my staff as to why they cant get to work on time.

Does anybody know anything of this player (Sergey Kornilenko) training with us?

Inspired.
No really.
Honestly...
I wish some chancer without the money or business nouce had us instead... oh wait haven't we just had that.
A lot was said today in the press conference but what was clear was that we were truly on the brink.
Actions speak louder than words, so I am prepared to wait and see if they deliver before firing the first salvo at them.

What is abundantly clear is that Uncle Terry truly did a number on us when he sold to the egomaniacs who very nearly took us to the brink.

I think too many people were hoping for big money owners, and the fact that people are writing Sullivan off already in my opinion is bonkers! If the debt is at 100+ million than perhaps they are dedicated and want to make this work. The bloke who messaged Skysports saying r.i.p West Ham is a fan who wants to pile on the misery in order to feel sorry for himself. Give them a chance I say, and let's hopefully expect a top performance against P'mouth. Please don't kill me for this, but I am quite attracted to Karen Brady lool.
