Dyer Missing In Action
I don't think there's too much to say about the Deportivo game apart from the fact that we look good when taking penalties and Green hasn't lost his knack from 12 yards - it's 22 yard scrubbers that give him nightmares!
The thing most worthy of note from today's game was the absence of Dyer. This was the closest we have come to a truly competitive match and, hey presto, Dyer has suddenly disappeared from view! He didn't even make it on to the substitutes bench! So, is it yet another injury after Dyer opened his gob earlier in the week and said how fit he was feeling?
Would anybody be surprised? After all, there was rain in the air today and that treatment room must have seemed so much more comfortable!
Are you sure he wasn't still in bed HF, I mean it was an early kick off and what with London nightlife ..
ReplyDeleteGood point Tom!
