'Arry Roughs Up Raffa!

Well, so many on here said that it was a waste of time Tottenham even showing up for the Champions League. Won't get through the qualifying game, they said. No chance of getting through the group they said. Inter will shit all over them, they said. Only scored three (with ten men) in the San Siro because Inter had taken the foot off the gas, they said.

Well, contrary to popular opinion, I am not a Tottenham fan, but I'm not so mean spirited as to not give credit where it is due. Tonight, Tottenham stuffed the holders of the Champions League and went to the top of their group in the process. They did it without Defoe, King & Gomes and with the brilliant Van der Vaart withdrawn at half time. And the chimp Bale didn't get on the score sheet either!

I don't care how much you hate them, show some good grace, swallow your bile (no not Bale anonymous, that is disgusting), grit your teeth and say, "Well done Spurs and well done 'Arry, you've done England proud!"

And even if you still see a dark cloud, the silver lining is that Rafa got a stuffing!

  2. Appreciate the words and not the usual vitriol that happens between both sets of fans from time to time.

    Chuffed and honestly quite shell-shocked...

  3. I wish more fans could have your grace mate. Brilliant night. As a season ticket holder away on business I'm over the moon, but just a little upset I had to miss it :(

  5. I have to say that Spurs were excellent tonight. I just wish that West Ham could be half as good as them

Maybe if we avoid relegation, sort out our finances and have a sustained period of stability we can emulate what Spurs have done since 'Arry joined them

  9. It's weird ain't it... I would have enjoyed seeing them get stuffed, but I take my hat off to 'em. Van der Vart and Bale are amazing. And even though I've never particularly liked him, Harry can't half turn a team around...

  10. I'm West Ham through and through and I have no time for Spurs. Infaxct i hate them with a passion but, having watched the game, the passion they showed and the class was simply awesome.

It's a shame for Spurs that Gareth Bale won't be with them after this season. City or Chelsea are, I'm sure, ready to make massive bids. What a brilliant player, world class.

  13. 1816, you are an ignoramus. I can assure you that OSP is 100% Claret & Blue but look at his post. Supporting a club does not have to involve hating another club. In fact, why hate anybody or anything? Why are you so inadequate that you feel the need to hate? Demonisation is crass. Grow up.

  14. i can tell you that i know some tottenham, chelsea, and millwall fans who absolutely hate west ham. and i can tell you i know a lot of west ham fans that hate those clubs. so why write about how well tottenham have done on here especially after how bad things are at west ham at the moment. their is no way you are a west ham fan because you are a disgrace. if you knew anything about west ham then you would know not to even mention the word tottenham. are you some kind of cnut or something. HF yeah right hahaha. im gonna go on a millwall site now to read about west ham. oh sorry no im not because they only talk about millwall because they hate west ham. probably because they haven't got a spud running the show making out he supports millwall.

  15. You are a moron aren't you? Read what you have just written! I quote:

"i can tell you that i know some tottenham, chelsea, and millwall fans who absolutely hate west ham. and i can tell you i know a lot of west ham fans that hate those clubs. so why write about how well tottenham have done on here especially after how bad things are at west ham at the moment. their is no way you are a west ham fan because you are a disgrace. if you knew anything about west ham then you would know not to even mention the word tottenham."

Now, you mention Tottenham 3 times, so presumably on the basis that "if you knew anything about west ham then you would know not to even mention the word tottenham", you, by your own definition, don't know anything about West Ham!

That doesn't surprise me because, given your inability to use capital letters, you probably don't know anything about anything! Jog on mate, you are too stupid to even bother with!

  16. say that to my face knob head.

  17. And I thought Bale was the missing link! Jog on and evolve!
