It never works does it? Newcastle have tried it a few times. King Kevin and King Al spring to mind. I suppose we had King Turds, although he was never really a cult hero as a player - like King 'Arry. Some in our ranks believe King Paulo could save the day but I suspect that would end in a Tiber full of tears!
So what will King Kenny bring to the table? Memories. And, well memories. And, well memories. If he can remember far enough back to the last time he walked out on a management job. When the going gets tough, King Kenny packs his suitcase!
The Board have given the fans what they want and so now they can relax. If it all goes tits up, the fans won't complain will they? It will all be Woy's fault because King Rafa and King Kenny are Champions League winning gods!
I'm glad they have HF - means O'Neil is still available and he is the only one who I would want to replace Grant. Hughton, Big Sam, Jol? I think they could do a job, but in Hughton's case it's his knowledge of the championship we would be employing him for! Big Sam is not a West Ham manager and I have never been convinced by Jol
ReplyDeletei think you misunderstood abit its not players returning to there clubs its mainly former managers who have a second stinit at a club that usually fails
