No wonder Sullivan & Gold didn't fancy getting into bed with Fernandes, the guy is as full of bullshit as our two muck spreaders combined! Who are QPR interested in this week? Saviola, Beckham, Johnson, Zamora apparently...you name him, and Fernandes will be linked with him somewhere along the line.
We have seen it all before at West Ham. We were linked with Beckham and Toni and Neymar and Klose and Uncle Tom Cobbley and, of course, Tevez. Who have we ended up with? Well we are in the Championship so that says it all!
Fernandes claimed to be interested in Parker but he knew that deal was never going to happen so he could mouth off about that until all his planes came home. True he reeled in Wright-Phillips and Barton but how much did they cost exactly? Man City and Newcastle were so desperate to offload that both were available for a song - their salaries apart.
So we can expect QPR to be linked with a whole host of "stars" over the next three months, only for the squad to look broadly similar come the end of January. This isn't a pot shot at QPR, it is just saying that Fernandes is playing the same game as Sullivan and Gold after their takeover at West Ham. And who did we get in their first January window? McBenni, Mido and Ilan!
Watch out you Rs, you have a conman at the controls! How long before he starts talking about building a new stadium I wonder?
Who ever wrote this is very stupid! The media links you with people, not the owner! Im a sports editor at a leading paper and we make more than half the stuff up.... Mr Fernades has done nothing but good for QPR.... Unlike Sullivan and Gold
ReplyDeleteI will be more than happy to accept what Mr.F has done and given to QPR. The last owners invested very wisely and got us out of the Championship ( Div2) and i respect them for that, but to have any chance in the Premier League (Div 1) sadly, you must spend. Mr.F has done that in the 1st Month. Thank You Mr F we just might have a chance of staying up now.
ReplyDeleteIs that right "Anonymous" @ 1901, so clubs do not use PR then? Papers made up Fernandes's claims to be interested in Parker did they? They also made up the quotation when Fernandes claimed to have enjoyed watching Bowles play for QPR in the early 80s, even though Bowles departed in 1979?
ReplyDeleteSo then, fess up. You are a sports editor are you? Then declare your name and paper! Must be quite a rag if you are hunting down stories from blogs on the net! Gizzus your name! Gizzus your rag!
Seriously now, why have you got the horn for Fernandes? Sounds very much like sour grapes to me. Do everyone a favour and concentrate your silly ramblings on matters that actually have something to do with West Ham.
ReplyDeleteAs with most things, there's a bit of truth and a bit of nonsense here. On the positive side Fernandes has so far said all the right things, and has actually put his hand in his pocket to bring in a batch of decent Premiership players. On the negative side I'm still waiting to hear anything at all from QPR about the promised season ticket refunds, and as for Saviola, Zamora, Beckham etc well, yeah, that sounds like bullshit, though the press definitely do invent stories. The original post comes across very much like a discontent Hammers fan. Worry about WHU, chum, not QPR.
ReplyDeleteHammersfan, no they didnt make up our interest for Parker, infact we made an official bid for him? He has only improved the club and have signed players you can only wish you bought last year. Maybe then you would wouldnt have done worse than the likes of Blackpool, Wigan and Blackburn. Joke of a post.
ReplyDelete2132, it is easy to put in an official bid when you know there isn't a chance in hell of it being accepted!
ReplyDeleteSo who are these great players you have signed? Barton - relegated with Newcastle. D J Campbell - relegated with Blackpool. Gabbidon - relegated with West Ham. Anton Ferdinand - would have been relegated with West Ham if not for Tevez (According to a judge so it must be true!). Dyer - relegated with BUPA. Pattern emerging here by any chance?
Oh and Wright-Phillips who was, er relegated with Man City!
Still you have Neil Warnock in charge who was only relegated with Sheffield United because of Tevez!
HF what do you actually think about that tevez situation i mean i don't get why we are paying sheffield united. And how we lost that case as we had cleared it with the fa and prem league for him to play the last 3 games and one player cant keep you up i mean what about that arsneal game did tevez score, no did green make 20 saves, yes did zamora score the winner yes so just them two winning us that game we stayed up
ReplyDeletehaha this is the biggest pile of shit i've ever read, from a west ham fan.
ReplyDeleteDuxbury Fred, Duxbury.
ReplyDeleteTo all the sad west ham fans and the dick head who writes this page "get a life" every other day you are writing about Q.P.R .Are things so boring at west ham that you keep sticking your nose in our going ons.I think deep down you want to come over to west London and cheer on the hoops.Anyway i have had my say so you just worry about your own club. You R'sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
ReplyDeleteWow...yet ANOTHER humungous load of uneducated waffle by the constantly jealous Hammersfan... in addition to prior outbursts of utter stupidity, we've really reached new heights this time!
ReplyDeleteIt may come as a minor shock..but the papers had us linked with everyone from Harry Kewell up to Joe Cole!! Fernandes actually said he wanted Parker, as opposed to any of the others. Saviola was a previous link..but even if he wasn't, why not? If you don't ask, you don't get, and just because we're willing to spend more on wages than your sorry club, that makes Fernandes full of it does it?? Er...ok, I think you're pointlessly pathetic attempts at logic died a rather abrubt death there moosh.
Also, unlike your sourpuss owners, Tony Fernandes has kept every promise he's made during his short tenure, and has proven his worth already by helping Warnock get quality through the door as well as listening to the fans and actually ACTING on what we've said.
Honestly, please go away and get a life based around - oh I dunno.. say, WEST HAM????
Seriously, you can't look more stupid that the the plonker that posted this blog. TF has wiped out the debt at QPR.. That's right invested shre capital in the club to wipe out £34mil of debt. I guess he was full of BS when he bought Air asia for $1 .. oh .. companies worth over $300mil now. Duh! You're a moron.
ReplyDeleteexactly qprmad you R,sssssss
ReplyDeleteBitter, sad west ham fan, I'm sure there not all like that!!!
ReplyDeleteI bummed your mother, after reading your blog you don't seem like the jealous type though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo, my QPR friends, Fernandes has SEEMED to listen to the fans. He has NOT brought quality through the door, has he?
ReplyDeleteI've already pointed out that Barton, Wright-Phillips, Gabbidon (pre Fernandes I know), Dyer and D J Campbell have all suffered relegation from the Prem, and Anton was part of our team that only escaped because of Warnock's incompetence. Now look at it another way, in terms of international quality.
Barton was on the radio moaning that he can't get into the England squad and blaming it on reputation. Well fair enough. Do you want somebody in the dressing room who may stub a cigarette out in the eye of a young player? Either ability or temperament wise, he has been found wanting all career. Wright-Phillips? Hugely over rated and far too many caps. What did he ever do in an England shirt? D J Campbell? No chance! Anton? No chance! Dyer? He is aiming for a place in the Paralympics team! Bothroyd? A one cap wonder.
You guys go on about quality but it is hardly clotted cream is it, more like full skimmed milk. Yes these players are better than what you had before, but that just shows how poor the rest of the squad is. Look at the table! You are below Swnasea and Norwich as we speak and 3 points off a relegation place. You caught Everton on an off day and haven't yet played a top team. Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool and Spurs all lie ahead of you and there are not many teams in the division who haven't had to play at least one of that lot so far. Bolton are bottom but they have played Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. And who did they get their 3 points against? 4-0 guys. Think about it.
h f why are you wasting your time talking to the qpr tossers we all know there a shit team with shit players and there fans are just a bunch of cnuts coyi
ReplyDeleteDid you 1011. She is 83, but I guess you QPR fans are desperate so what ever turns you on!
ReplyDeleteJim, I suspect we will be playing QPR next season, in the Championship!
Full of bull you say, in the short time he's been with us, he's lowered prices, done the best he could in the transfer market to give us a fighting chance to stay up. Started planning a new stadium and generally been a breath of fresh air after the pure poison that was there before.
ReplyDeleteAll QPR fans are delighted with him, we prefer ours to yours!
BTW a nice old pic of the R's at White City, you like?LOL
http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee423/jenufa1/1962-63/whitecity62-63c.jpg
Northolt, have you read the thread on the new stadium? Interested in your response.
ReplyDeleteSo you're saying talk of a new stadium is response to the 6-0? It's you who's full of bull.
ReplyDeleteWe've got the man behind the O2's success in as CEO and are in advance talks to
buy the BBC site.
What is your problem with QPR/Fernandes?
Unambitious he ain't.
wow qpr played at the white city lmao who gives a fcuk

ReplyDeletewow qpr played at the white city lmao who gives a fcuk"
=========================
Your QPR obsessed blogger might interested QPR history!
And the sight lines at the Olympic stadium will be similar, now that really is a LMFAO!
northolt you can have whoever you want as ceo but have you got a product to sell ie qpr fc could you fill a thirty thousend stadium? qpr need a stadium more than we do but if you got one worth having would it be half empty
ReplyDeleteSo given 7 days in the transfer market (after fernandez took over) and after having signed 14 PROOVEN PREMIERSHIP PLAYERS
ReplyDeleteHes done a shit job
Jelousy much???
I dont see why everyone had to jump on QPR about everything, anyway what is it to you
I guess you might be feeling a bit sour about YOUR owners lying to you, but Just because we have a seemingly honest owner looking to build a club doesnt mean you have to be such a green eyed monster :P
Fact: WHU are in the Championship, QPR are in the Premiership. That's not bullshit is it? Sure, it might be the other way round next season, who knows? It's a pointless activity trying to highlight the flaws in another teams transfer policy. Every team puts together a bunch of players to do the best they can. If the policy works, the team does well, if not, they go down. I'm a lifelong QPR cnut, but I don't like seeing WHU in the Championship. They're a big, Premiership club who have been relegated because they weren't good enough last season. It happens. I hope you get promoted this season, but really...you should be concentrating on your own problems and not slagging off QPR. Why the f..k would you care that we've bought players who aren't good enough? Why the f..k would you care about QPR at all? Honestly, when Rangers were trying to get promoted last season, we weren't bothered about your under-achievers. Stop crying & concentrate on the matter at hand.
ReplyDeletewhat is it with this site having pot shots at us r's? Mr f has done wonders for us to give us a great chance of staying up. Mr f may or may not be linking us to all these players but he has brought in some quality players, players I'm sure wh would love to have. of coarse we prob won't get Beckham or saviola but u never know. u got tevez boro got ravineli these things can happen even.if very rarely. its no reason to criticise him for aiming big. maybe if u went for players of that quality or for swp and barton u wouldn't be in the championship now. u should spend your time praying big Sam will get u up as when those parachute payments run out u better if your not in the prem u could find your self in big trouble. let me tell u league one is not where u want to be when u your used to top flight football.your headline should be SOUR GRAPES LOL
ReplyDeleteRight..I'm getting sick of this. Hammersfan, let's look at your 'points' in the above thread shall we.
ReplyDeleteSeemed to listen to the fans? No..he HAS listened. Most people know the prices were lowered, and Amit Bhatia brought back in - 2 very important issues raised by the fanbase - and he immediately gave Warnock superb backing in the transfer market. He even brought back our old mascot, and is considering a return to our old club logo - ALL BECAUSE OF FAN REQUESTS THROUGH VARIOUS SOCIAL NETWORKING MEDIA. In a few weeks, that man has turned our club around and could not have done any more than he has.
As for quality - what on earth are you talking about?? Dispite your delapidated opinions, we now have PROVEN Premiership quality players the likes of which we would never have been able to obtain under Briatore...or Sullivan & Gold for that matter! You think that just because players were involved in relegated teams that makes them rubbish do you? So, by that logic, how in the universe did Scott Parker ever get an England cap?? I mean, come on, he was RELEGATED WITH WEST HAM so he MUST be sh!t! Just like Green, Hitzlesburger (yes I know he's gone now), Noble, Cole etc etc then right? They all got relegated Hammersfan. Crikey. You're clearly DOOMED!!
Warnock and incompetence can hardly be used in the same sentence...he got us promoted from the bottom of the Championship on a shoe string in 1 season, and managed to secure some great names on deadline day to set us off this season. You talk about DJ Campbell...he got 13 goals last season for a RELEGATED club! He's already got one for us, despite the fact that he's basically suffered a virus since the start of the season, not to mention he's a QPR fan through and through, so will fight tooth and nail for this club.
Anton Ferdinand has looked very assured in our defence - and before you even mention Fulham, Fitz Hall was playing with a hamstring, Bradley Orr is unfortunately more of a Championship player only able to play on the right, therefore forcing Luke Young to switch to left back. Losing 6-0 doesn't give you much excuse, but the fact is we fully expected to ship some goals that day. Our proper back 4 has kept 3 clean sheets so far. Not bad eh? ...
..If our squad was so poor, how comes we romped to promotion? The only reason we didn't seal it earlier is because of all the crap surrounding Ali Faurlin. Yet players like him and Shaun Derry have really stepped up, and if you actually watch a QPR game, (say..I don't know..the 3-0 away win at Wolves you somehow neglected to mention) then you might see why we're talking about quality players. And on top of that, these boys haven't even gelled together yet! They've played about 3 games together!! Another point you've missed.
ReplyDeleteOur away win at Everton - another club who you'd back to do well, even though on closer examination they don't really have any teeth up front either - was done with a barebones squad before our big name signings even came in! Our 'rubbish' squad did that - enter Akos Buzsaky and Tommy Smith. Both are terrific players.
You talk about the league table after 7 games as if it's all over!! Fulham moved out of relegation up to 12th from one win against us, I hardly think that gives a true representation of things to come does it?? Norwich and Swansea are above us...yeah..on goal difference you idiot. So what? It's not like almost every other team in the league won't take a 6-0 drubbing at some point - the afore mentioned pair in particular.
I'm sorry, but you try and sound like you know what you're talking about when you actually don't know anything. Even against Bolton we were by far the better team for 60 minutes...4-0 was EXTREMELY flattering and everyone knows it. Except jealous people like you and the media who only look at the scoreline.
Maybe if you did a little research instead of blithering on with reams and reams of unconsidered drivel, you might actually stumble across a half decent point.
I haven't overlooked your win at Everton. Have you noted how Everton start a new season? It was their first game and they hadn't woken up. Who else have you played? Have you noted Wolves' results since your win there?
ReplyDeleteSo because Everton start slowly..that means our win counts for nothing?
ReplyDeleteAnd because Wolves haven't done well, the same is also true of that game? You don't go to an established Premier League away fixture and run out clear winners unless you've got something good going on in your team..and that goes for Fulham! Look at their attack now they've all come back from injury!! Andrew Johnson, Bobby Zamora, Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey - wow. I'd LOVE Johnson if Fulham can't agree a new contrat for him. But if they do, and keep injury free, they should be looking up the table.
You keep harping on that we've 'not played anyone'..I'm sure each one of those teams we've 'not played' would have looked at us and wanted 3 points. Aston Villa - if even a remotely competent referee was in charge, we'd have won 3-0. Fact. Villa are a pretty good side in case you hadn't noticed? We we're all over Newcastle as well, and they're hardly chopped liver, so I'm sorry again but that argument is also rubbish.
Blackpool did the double over Liverpool and beat Spurs last season but they still went down! You just seem to want to try and find any little excuse to complain about QPR - I've never known any 'fan' like it!! If we do well, we do well - if we don't, we don't! What the hell's it got to do with you anyway? I personally couldn't give a rats backside about West Ham. I don't care who you sign, what games you've played, whether you've played against the 'big boys' (Southampton in your case) or not.
Once again, if you have a valid point to make, make it. Otherwise, shut up, support your own team and have another look in the new year.
For your info. QPR did bid for parker, and same did spurs. Ofcourse he would like to join spurs as they are one of the top teams. You can't expect big names just to come just like that. You must look at it this way, who would wanna join a small team? So fernandes and warnock has done well by bringing good players in
