QPR look to van der Vorst

The news of Monique van der Vorst's miraculous recovery from paralysis, enabling her to swap the Paralympics for professional road racing, is provoking excitement down in the Bush. Van der Vorst lost the use of one of her legs when just 13 and was paralysed in both legs when winning Paralympic medals; yet to the amazement of her doctors, she has now made a full recovery and is competing in professional cycling competitions.

The hope is that if van der Vorst can do it, then Kieron Dyer may yet be in with a chance. Of course it is a long shot, as a source close to the club explained: "Recovering from paralysis from the waist down is one thing, but expecting Kieron to play football is a completely different kettle of fish," he said. "Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead but even he might have passed up on the opportunity to treat Dyer. I mean, even the Son of God knows his limits!"

Unlike Neil Warnock of course!

  1. I know you are a total twunt with a curious QPR obsession for a West Ham who is just looking for a wind up, but shouldn't your parents think about limiting your internet access after lights out? Nice to know you would use someone's paralysis to make fun of one of your former players. Always had a real soft spot for West Ham (I'm a QPR fan) but this pustular 17-year-old does your club no credit. My first and last ever post on your miserable little teenage blog, snotty.

  2. But she isn't paralysed any more! Unlike Dyer!

  4. Woah 23.58, why so touchy? He's made a joke about an ex west ham player who cost our club millions In return for absolutely nothing (and still managed to convince a premiership club of taking him on???) It's not even at the expense of the paralysed/unparalysed van der vorst, it's completely at the expense of dyer? You'll be making the same kind of jokes about dyer in a year or so, trust me

  6. Den I was totally dumbfounded he managed to secure a premiership contract! Literally couldn't work out why any club would want him on their books. He is a complete burden and waste of money and to be honest I was happy when he came off 5 mins into his debut. If we couldn't get 1 single decent peformance out of him for all te money he made, then why should anyone else! Selfish but just the way I see it
