Allardyce's Tactics Explained!

All is explained! Those of us wondering why we were not more positive after the sending off now have our answer. Quoted on the Official Site, Doctor Evil explains, "Then, of course, the game changed completely when WE went down to ten men".

So, there you have it, poor Sam was confused! He thought WE were a man short! It's probably because Nolan was absent without leave on the pitch again. Allardyce saw the red card, then counted the West Ham players trying to get on the ball and put in challenges and could only count ten!

I understand where he was coming from. Against Reading, I couldn't remember who our tenth player was after the sending off of O'Brien. It was only when Nolan touched the ball ten minutes later that I remembered he was on the pitch!

I take back all my criticism. Allardyce set out his stall as if we were a man short; so that explains everything!

  1. You do need to stop moaning mate. Always liked your style, but we are doing well this season and you should admit it. Sam is doing exactly what has been asked of him. The doctor evil stuff is looking more and more ridiculous. Sam is more like Fat Bastard because in spite of first impressions he is so sexy!

    My old man.

  3. Be that as it may, Sam is 100 times better than Avram Grant and what do you know, he is back in business as Manager of Partizan Belgrade! Poor Zola is still looking for a job! Not to mention Curbs...

  4. It's about who you know, not what you know Sav

  5. Yes I know Stani.

    It reminds of the joke:
Who is a good lawyer? Answer: The one who knows the law.
    And then you ask:
Who is a great lawyer? Answer: The one who knows the judge!

Yes, unfortunately, a lot things in life are about who rather than what you know. And just to HF a little irritated, I still think that Zola was a much better manager than Avram Grant. But maybe HF thinks so now too.

  6. I would imagine that Zola knows a lot more people than Grant does!

  7. 'Who' you know HF, not how many you know!

Yes Sav, I think HF should concede. He's not been himself lately anyway. He missed the fact that the return of Parker to the Tottenham team coincided with Spurs dropping points after recently being touted as title contenders. He can't be well, surely!?

  8. And Brady's column:

    " FRIDAY, JAN 13

WOKE up on Friday the 13th not with a scare, but a sense of surprise.

What has Avram Grant got that makes club chairmen keep giving him jobs?

Our former manager, who took us down last season and Portsmouth the year before, has just landed the job at Partizan Belgrade — one of the biggest clubs in eastern Europe.

All I can say is that Avram must have one hell of an agent."

Hahaaa! There you go HF. Looks like Stani was right all along.
