Warnock Set To Walk Out On Leeds

With Fazal Al Hasawi closing in on Nottingham Forest rather than Leeds, it's looking increasingly likely that Warnock and Leeds will part company sooner rather than later. Old Motor Mouth departed for his summer hols muttering about the failure of the club to land more signings and knows what happens if you are a manager in place BEFORE a take over.

If Al Hasawi decides that Forest are the better bet - because they own their own stadium and unlike Leeds have won the European Cup perhaps - then Warnock may well prefer to go where he is loved rather than hang around at a place where he doesn't know who his next boss will be, and if they will even want him.

Interesting times at Elland Road!

    2. Actually dickhead, Forest do own their stadium, but not the land it's on. So get your facts right!

    3. Yes, sorry, I should have made it more clear. Forest are tenants and the land can be sold by the Council. It's a bit like having a caravan but not owning the site. So the fact they own some concrete and plastic isn't worth sweet f.a. dickhead.

  8. this is just utter nonsense. Warnock has not muttered about more signings and therefore preparing to walk. You do realise that Leeds are still in talks with a North American business of multi $billion fortune.

Funny West Ham are backed by Alan Sugar's inept number 2 and a porn monger who would not understand loyalty to a club if it came up and blew bubbles un his arse.

  12. What happening at Elland Rd now. If NW leaves and Leeds don't get a new chairman then where do we stand. It seems to me that before the season starts we will not have any players for a team, and this is unfair on LUFC.

  15. What a sad lonely existence you must lead to publish such speculative drivel each day. Sadder too that you write about a club that you don't support. Focus your efforts on supporting West Ham rather than posting such meaningless crap.

    ReplyDelete
  16. For a Hammers Fan you take far too much interest in whats happening at Leeds. Maybe its the fact we are a bigger club than you, and you need the attention, or could it be that when you write anything about WHFC, no-one gives a sh*t about your comments on that either!?? Get a life !

  18. When you move into your athletics stadium,if your lucky. how much will you be paying for that?.. Oh I forgot you won't be paying for it. And if you knew anything about Leeds United you would know exactly who owns the ground and how much it could be aqquired for. Is there a bit of jealousy coming in here as you are not even in the top five teams in your " beautiful" city and owned by a couple of filth pedlars who love owning yoyo teams. A bit like the knickers of the people that they associate with.

  19. Your headliner may be a consideration for him but at the moment (as at today) he is on holiday and an integral part of Leeds United Football Club. An opinion on any future event is vastly different to the blatent wum statement that you infer.

  20. I really don't know why you have this unhealthy fixation with Leeds United... Perhaps your father used to beat you when you were a child, every time you wore yellow, white and blue and sang Marching On Together? Perhaps your mother ran off with a taxi driver from Armley called Brian when you were six....
You really need to take more interest in your own club and not a proper northern outfit like Leeds. MOT.

  27. How sad that you have no evidence of any of this. Where has anyone ever confirmed that one of the two bidders is from Kuwait? Hasn't it been said that the ones in the driving seat are from North America?

I expect the sale of Leeds Utd to go through and I expect Warnock to receive a healthy amount to spend. On another note any deal for Notts Forest is a long way off according to factual reports.

:D people moan, but it is true. If I were NW I'd probably want a bit more info. Having said that he should probably concentrate on what he needs to do unless told otherwise as everything is, at the moment, conjecture. Still, it could be worse, we could have Big Sam AND The Hair Bear Bunch :D

  40. I have to admit, sometimes your little pretend news articles are quite amusing, however what I can't understand, is why a 'hammers' fan spends all his time writing about Leeds? I have much more interesting things to be doing, like blowing bubbles across my garden, piping out some gay music, and imagining im at your ground. YAY!!!! WE SCORED A GOAL!! I know let's blow some pretty bubbles......

  42. Jeez, for a West Ham fan you certainly have an unhealthy obsession with Leeds United!

On one level it appears that we should be flattered that you devote so much of your time to making up totally fabricated stories about our club. However, when you consider that, even though you're back in the Premier league you are STILL not as big a club as us AND NEVER WILL BE, your bizarre fixation with us is actually entirely understandable.

    ReplyDelete

  44. I find it a wondrous thing that someone can think that Fanno is putting posts on here just to gets hits ... and then they post ! Doh ! The phrase 'own goal' springs to mind .. if you cant see or accept that young Fanno is a wind-up merchant, and that a lot of stuff on here is just deliberately provocative ...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Really HF, why do you think we even care about Leeds or Warnock? Tell us something about West Ham if you know anything...

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'd smack this west ham bubble blowing twat if I ever met him!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I do find you funny in a sad way, you like to mention that we do not own our ground or training complex, but you never mention that we have the option to buy back the ground for only £15m (independent valuation of £40m) and our training complex for £5m (independent valuation of £12m), when a new buyer takes up this option, they would not only "gain" £42m in collateral but remove £2.5m going out each year, they would also not have the £8m other undisclosed expenses that goes out each year (yes Leeds fans knows this is to Ken), therefore instead of the club breaking even each year there would be an additional £10m profit and that is on Championship figure's... so yeah poor investment, would not know why anyone would be interested..muppet

  61. Sure Forest won the European Cup but didn't have to play Beckenbauer's Bayern Munich. One of the best teams of the 70's.

  65. 1715, spot on, that doesn't count does it? Mind you, didn't Leeds play a second division team in the FA Cup final and fail to beat them? Some useless geezer by the name of Ian Porterfield scored didn't he? How on earth could such a great side as that Revie team lose to such pathetic opposition eh?

By the way, Forest beat Hamburg in the final the following year and had to beat Ajax over two legs in the semifinal. Doesn't count I suppose! Hamburg were shit after all, they only beat Real Madrid 5-1 in the second leg of the semifinal! And Ajax? Led by Krol, they were crap weren't they?

Rather be in the Championship mix and at least having a chance of winning than getting kickings week in, week out by far richer and more famous clubs.

You play boring football and someone like Arsenal or City will pull you apart.

  75. Wooo 80 comments, sensitive souls. On a point of fact leeds is not englands third city in any sense birmingham, manchester, liverpool are all bigger, economically, culturally and sporting-wise but you are a big club, certainly bigger than west ham but try reading what is actually being proposed here; that until you dump Bates and get a proper owner your 'biggness' wil continue to diminish and tho' hard to believe, like HF, i hope you do get yourself back in the big time the premier league is diminished by the abscence of clubs like Leeds, also you can do better than Warnock.

    ReplyDelete
  76. In fact, Forest do own their stadium but unfortunately not the land it is built on. They lease that from the Nottingham Council.

    ReplyDelete
  77. That would be you're a knob - 20:53

  78. Get your facts right. Leeds is the 3rd biggest population in England after London and Birmingham ...Manchester , ect have to include the surounding areas to get above Leeds..

  79. Whoopy do. My dad is harder than your dad! My car is bigger than your car, my town is bigger than your town my club is bigger than your club. Get a grip and get a life. How sad!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I stand corrected although i would argue manchester's city boundaries don't reflect the true reach of the city however ... I agree as a city of such stature you ought to be in the PL and the fact you aren't is because you have had a series of owners who have proved to be catastrophic. I don't see Bates as an improvement on those that have gone before.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Fuk me Kevin, you are amazing at stating the fukin obvious. Guess what - no Leeds fans want Bates. Use your head.

By the way, forever blowin bubbles is the gayest football song ever. Listening to a load of fat blokes singing that song is the funiest thing in football!

    ReplyDelete
  82. No 22:29 - the funniest thing in football is the fact that Sheffield United are such a bunch of losers, despite a £30m windfall entirely undeserved from The Hammers. Now, let's see, who was the cock that got them relegated?
Second funniest thing in football, just at the moment, has to be the string of bell-ends who have fallen for HF's bait and attempted to try to counter his excellently provocative article against a club that is undeniably in a state of plateaued mediocrity.
That said, I grant you, a bunch of fat cockneys singing 'bubbles' is, if I put my allegiance to one side, pretty bloody funny!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Man why are you so bothered about Leeds? Support your own club! Your a hammer or no sorry actually ur a spanner, MOT

    ReplyDelete
  86. Forest own their stadium not the ground, the ground is currently rented and this has been the case for the last 100 years. Nothing will be know until next week, all I know being a Forest supporter is that money buys success n football, gone are the days when a club like Forest can compete with Real Madrid on zero resources. Cash is king, and the Arabs have it a plenty at the moment. If this puts Forest back into the big time Id be delighted, but the importance in keeping the Nottingham in Forest is vital
