Signing Number Four On His Way

So Henderson, Jussi and Diame have been added to the fold and, if we can believe Sullivan - and he wouldn't lie would he? - signing number four will be announced next week. So the guessing game begins. Who is it exactly? The confidence suggests that it is another free transfer as there appears to be no worries about negotiating with another club. Leeds have just announced the capture of Republic of Ireland player Green, so perhaps our latest signing has been involved in the Euros?

So, free transfer / out of contract and playing until recently in the Euros? Any guesses? Pavel Pogrebnyak would fit the bill wouldn't he?

Of course, gone are the days when we learn about who we have signed through press conferences. Jack Sullivan can't resist breaking news through his twatter account can he?

  1. Pogrebnyak is half way through a medical with Reading, probably be announced tomorrow. Hopefully it's Benayoun or Krasic or Elia, in fact i might even be Castaignos.

    1. Lmao I love west ham fans so much you really do live in a world of your own!!! Krasic and Elia are so far out of your league it's unreal both of them could quite easily play for any of the top 6-7 clubs and be class!!
Can't wait until ronaldo wants to leave madrid you'll be straight after him

  2. Considering that you are so interested in other clubs you should have picked up on the fact that he signed for Reading today. Could've saved yourself from looking more of a tit than normal.

  3. I said I was guessing. Fear we missed a trick there! I'd rather have him than Shot Holt!

  8. Midfield is our biggest problem. But not so for Sam it seems. We still have no creative midfield player and we are looking for defenders and more and more forwards! Also, still players with sufficient pace and skill at the wings. The New Bolton of East London maybe doesn't need any of those!

  9. Wide midfield remains a problem Sav. Still hopeful that we will land Yossi to add creative flair. I'm happy with the platform of Diame, Noble and Nolan personally.

Anyway, Greece is the word at the moment. I'm a Greek supporter tomorrow night! I hear they are remixing the sound track of the Mama Mia film to accommodate new lyrics "Money, money, money, must be funny, in a German world!" It's all set up for the Greek team to shove austerity up the Germans' arses! Come on Plato's boys!

  10. Allardyce may use Morrison, finally. That may solve the creativity issue in midfield. Just not sure what he's intending to do there.

You think Noble will be any good this season, HF? You think he'll be a regular?

  12. France has spoiled it though. Now, we can't have an England v Greece final. I hope we re-discover the magic of 2004 and send the arrogant Germans packing. But it's not easy. This Germany is probably the best in 20 years. I would love to see the face of Merkel after Germany is defeated by the Greeks. It will signal the beginning of the end for the 4th Reich! Anyway, if we don't beat them, I hope England will in the semi-final. Cheers.

Noble needs to be replaced by the way. The sooner the better... Send him to QPR with Green if they would have him. I mean the had Gabbidon, Ferdinand and Dyer. Noble is not as bad any of those!

  13. Re Morrison, it'll be interesting to see what part, if any, he plays in the friendlies.

  14. I'll leave my opinion for the semi final as long as England make it past Italy I expect the Germans to repeat the 2010 scoreline

  15. Yes 13:15, that will give us some idea if he's in Allardyce's plans. I really hope he does and fulfills his potential. But the fact that we have heard hardly anything since January, is slightly concerning
