Leeds climb to seventh as Blackpool go goal crazy

A par for the course 2-1 win at Peterborough saw Leeds climb to the heady heights of seventh in the Championship, just one place off a play off position. Fingers crossed for Leeds fans that Becchio's brace does not stimulate an offer as Master Bates is likely to accept it, take over in the offing or not.

Meanwhile Blackpool look pretty tasty. No wonder West Ham struggled to beat them in last season's play off final! Blackburn are also shaping up well so Leeds fans shouldn't get too cocky. It was only Posh at the end of the day, and even the clapped out Becks can still give her a seeing to!

The Prem edged a little closer for Leeds at London Road but seventh place qualifies you for nothing. Report for Warnock after three games? Must do better! After all, even West Ham won at Peterborough last season and look what Swansea did to us yesterday!

  1. Lets just concentrate on West Ham shall we?

    3-0 defeat wasn't it?

Why can't you leave Leeds alone and comment on Wet Spam results?

Oh, just like to point out again you lost 3-0?

    Leeds WON 2-1

Do we really need you keep digging yourself into a pile of $hite here?

Swansea might be the team to pick on next?

  2. Why don't you concentrate on your own side. What was the score yesterday. Swansea played you off the park. I actually watched the game, and most of the match your team was chasing bloody shadows. God knows what your West ham buddies think about a blog that says West ham, yet you avoid your own team completely.

  7. We're not stupid. Its a long way to go. We (leeds) need more players, then we will see if its prem or not. Anyway, Swans gave you a good kicking, and they spent much less than you this season. hahaha

  9. Yeah lets all laugh at Wet Spam. Can't even beat the Taffs! LMAO When you beat Peterborough last season though you didn't take many supporters did you? premeirship club my arse! Your in it for a season to make up the numbers. You have no ambition to win anything or even compete to try to! What a depressing life you must be locked into. East London slum dwelling, crap football team with no identity no wonder you post blogs on Leeds United NewsNow pages. We live in a wonderful City, beautiful County & follow a football club with passion

  10. Compared to Swansea West Ham are burton Albion! West ham are going straight back down as they always seem to do. You're never going to be a big team, Leeds will always be a massive team.

  12. Pathetic. Prem edged closer? 3 games down. First up, no one above us has played 2 away. It is a good start to the season considering a difficult opening handful of fixtures. Blackburn will be a tough test. Although if we play them off the park you'll come put some trash up about them getting relegated or shipping x goals in the Prem, therefore they're gonna be terrible in the champs. I am actually surprised one of these popped up on NN, thought you'd eff off with your tail between your legs after the lesson laudrup's boys gave you.

  13. what did it feel like to be outclassed by swansea yesterday. bubble blowing tosser.

  14. yes look at what happend to your team yesterday and you still mock us its actually pathetic what your doing you follow our results and have a nerve to make blogs about our team lol west ham will be lucky to stay in the prem and yes maybe we'll be lucky to get promoted but no team wins anything without luck on the way so make posts about your own team and its dismal performance against a side thats well not all that either i saw that game and your sweaty manager actually thought you deserved better well the way i saw it was you got ran of the park good luck against the bigger teams maybe you'll get lucky and draw with southampton or reading.

  15. Very magnamous of you and somewhat surprising however in the same vein then! You were unlucky yeterday as i thought you were the better side. The bbc darlings on MOTD had the blinkers on again when it came to praising those pretenders at Swansea. Passing the ball around making 35 passes for 2 mins then losing it achieves the thick end of cock all! i for one dont want to see the prem full of teams like Arsenal its dull and our English game is built on power and aggression.I realise this new found worship and god like status being heaped on barca and spain is being roundly touted as being the only way to win tournaments ! So what i dont give two fecks as long as the national side show passion and committment i dont mind losing. I dont want the FA abondoning what we as supporters have helped make the best leagues in the world to say we won something played every 4 years. Our Football is played every week for almost 10 months and the english game is the richest in the world so tippy tapas football naw its shite ! MOT oh and btw your still all Teapots at Best Spam - LUFC4LIFE

  16. I like your sign off - I mean Swansea royally Julianed you on Saturday and that was even with your version of Steve Austin the £10 million man.

As Leeds edged closer to the Premiership, your boys teetered closer to the Premiership shit'ole. Still you can laugh at Leeds buying players from relegated clubs...jobbing professionals if you will.

However, say what you want about Bates (I for one Leeds fan wouldn't let my kids near him after hearing tales about Cpt Birdseye) but at least he didn't spend £10 million on someone who played as though Lance Armstrong had slipped him a potion.

Congratualtions on the win against Villa, but I fear that results such as that against Swansea will be all too common...

  17. Yeah look what a mediocre team did to you yesterday, 3.0, if I were you I'd prepare to come straight back down.See that's what you get from a manager who's a knuckle dragging northerner. He who laughs last son laughs loudest, and are leeds gonna laugh at you after what you've written about us. have a nice day hammersfanny.

  18. Hi, this is only the 2nd time I have commented on your blog, and would like to.praise you for writing an article without the usual snide comments you love to aim at Leeds.
In the time I have been reading you're blog I have gone from finding west ham a team I simply don't Care about, to one that I hate, and wish to lose every game. However, I found this especially difficult when your fans sang god save the queen at kick off yesterday, to the disgust of the Swansea. Normally this would make me 100% side with the hammers, but due to your blog. I wanted both teams to win.
I guess thats what football is all about though, hoping teams of other people you talk to lose, just so you can mock them.
Anyway, I am too drunk to remember what point I was trying to make so I will leave this rambling comment here.
    BATES OUT

  20. What are you on about? How can anyone predict anything after only 3 games? Saying we are near the playoffs etc is laughable, the season is 46 games mate. I noticed your team got shown how to play football on Saturday. Its going to be a long season for you lot. Don't be so cocky yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Haha..... Back tracking........

Swansea.... You gotta luv em, played you lot off the park, looked like Spain vs Sam Marino

West spam looked so pedestrian, looking forward to Blackburn vs spammers in championship next season, when we are in the prem

I never used to bother with the wham games until now, this is fun

  29. you were turned over ''BIG TIME'' mate no doubt about it.
Interesting point about Bechio and I totally agree with you on this, Bates will cash in whoever and whenever he feels the urge to.
It's my first time on this LEEDS site, where does the West Spam connection come from? I'm puzzled.

  30. Hf has a smashing pair of tits guys "proper moobs them" He is god damn ugly tho !! HM has smashing tits too and "shamed to say" dont look half bad in drag !!

  31. Don't get cocky? Blimey, 3 games lad, 1 home win and 1 away win against Peterborough. We don't need reminding by you how tough this league is, especially without a strong squad with depth and cover. Remind us how you're big signings did at Swansea again?

    ReplyDelete
  32. No, no, no Hammersfan. No one is being cocky and we certainly don't think we are world beaters or even automatic promotion contenders for that matter. This has nothing to do with West Ham really either. We're just showing you to be the complete fool that you are! What was it you were saying about our goalkeeper only days ago? Do you think we can borrow Jussi as cover for Rachubka in the reserves!??

  33. How undignified: The sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped by a desperate loser. A man whose wafer thin argument gets a little thinner every day.

If you can't do better than that pile of tenuous dribble you'll be in serious danger of not getting the "rise" your hoping for.

Still, looking forward to watching you squirm a little more each passing week as your manager sinks further and further into that I'll fitting suit. Great entertainment though. The sad thing for the Hammers though is whilst they can sack Sam, they are saddled with you forever - a constant source of embarrassment for a once great club.

  35. Leeds reject Danny Graham banged in the Swansea third... :-)

Top 6 is a miracle for Leeds with no cash and a team of rejects, playing hit and hope, but at least they are an honest team and give 100%...so whats your problem?

West Ham will struggle , anyone can see that

The last REAL team to win the top league was Leeds in 91/92...since then it has been money money money

Any league where you can predict the top four in the league and the cups at the start of the season is REALLY BORING
