FA's London Bias Hits Leeds United Again Ahead Of Millwall Game

Bloody typical. Talk about looking after your own! The big wigs at the FA were never going to overturn the Pearce red card with a game coming up against London club Millwall were they?

We all knew the public school educated London toffs would look after the pit bull mongrels who change the tyres on their Rolls Royces didn't we? Once again the London bias strikes and Leeds have been unfairly punished.

The sending off of Pearce was ridiculous, as any number of Leeds fans have posted on here to tell me. True it was a crunching tackle, true it was premeditated, and true it was designed to prevent a goal scoring opportunity, but all that is beside the point. Warnock says it was never a red and Warnock is never wrong!

But the fix was in. So Leeds have to travel to the New Den without both Brown and Pearce, not to mention a host of other players ruled out by injury, including Austin - who did not suffer a double leg break but merely a crack of the ankle. Makes you wonder what all the fuss was about doesn't it? Some might even suspect it was a smoke screen to avoid difficult questions about a 1-6 home hammering! Perish the thought!

Poor old Warnock. He now rates the once mighty Leeds as underdogs for the game against little old Millwall - and is apparently 'shitting his pants' at the prospect of playing them. Still, by then Leeds may be owned by the Arabs and planning for a bright new future.

It wasn't Takeover Tuesday today but it could be Wonderful Wednesday tomorrow or Takeover Thursday the day after or Thank Crunchie It's Friday the day after that or maybe Mega Monday next week or Takeover Tuesday or...

  3. Boring, boring, boring. Yawn, yawn, yawn. We know where you stand, Dr Weevil. You're only enhancing your "status" as a tedious, talentless tit by insisting on re-empahasising it ad nauseam.

Give us a break, eh? Write about little West Ham, or the Queen Muvver, gawd bless 'er. Or put the writing to one side, and get a girlfriend. For Christ's sake, whatever you do, change the bloody record.

  4. I suspect making a big fuss over the injury was a smokescreen to avoid being fully interviewed about the game. Especially after a supporter questioned Eddy Gray's inability to ask Warnock the awkward WHY! questions.

  10. What are you playing at picking out peoples grammer and spelling mistakes?. Leeds are poor this year but i cant understand how someone from london gets a kick out of it. Is it that you enjoy sitting on your laptop writing shite and hoping to get some comments to make yourself feel good?. Its a bit petty.

  11. Your dead right HF, Leeds united will be shitting their pants at the thought of playing millwall. I'll be surprised if Leeds take many fans down there, can't imagine they would be up for it. Years ago maybe, but not these days. No, these days millwall have a bigger and tougher team and fanbase. Now that must be embarrassing! It's just most Leeds fans don't see it like that because they are living in the past, a decade or so behind normal people. Bless them. I predict a 3-1 win for millwall

  14. You have a lot in common with Warnock. Full of hot hair and perhaps past your sell-by date.

Warnock did not wish to talk after the Watford shambles, so he dodged the issue by making noise about Pearce & Austin. He is a coward. I think he and you may be the same person. A bit like Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Upon reflection, you are more like one of Batman's barmy enemies - Harvey Two-Face. Did you have an accident that gave you a split personality?

Time they locked you away in Arkham Asylum. Keep taking the pills.

  22. Hammerfan: Can you please get over your Leeds phobia as you are very seriously embarrassing not only West Ham fans but also the club with your continued rants about them. Also, while I am at it, perhaps you can cut out the QPR garbage to.

Once upon a time, you had half decent things to post that were West Ham related but now it is just ridicule of other clubs.

You have lost your way, please try and find it again instead of just annoying lower league opposition (sorry, had to get that in but, I am serious about the rest).

If pearce had not been wrongly sent off (yellow card at best) austin would not have been moved back into defense and being in that position when he broke his leg!!!!

  30. why is this obsessed idiot still making things up and misrepresenting the views of us Leeds fans? Where has anyone expressed the view that it was a wrong decision or 'london bias' affected the decision? While I think there was valid grounds for the club to lodge an appeal; his feet did not leave the ground, it was not dangerous and it was not a goal scoring opportunity; clubs appealing decisions after the fact is a standard practice and they are rarely if ever successful, so why would anyone have expected it to be this time. To be honest I don't think it makes any difference whether we have Pearce in the team, because the problems with the current side are all over the pitch

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh I see 0610, we are splitting hairs about the use of the word, like Warnock was splitting hairs about the foot leaving the ground. It was a red card. Fully justified. But Leeds fans still tried to use it as an excuse for a humiliating defeat, as did Warnock. Along with a crack in a bone for Austin too of course.

    1. All Leeds fans? Or just 3? Actually I didn't think it was a red, but then again I am biased! You never split hairs do you?

  32. 0833, the article highlights the paranoia of Leeds fans. There's always somebody else to blame, it's always somebody else's fault, and Cockney bastards are usually behind it somewhere along the line.

    ReplyDelete
  33. so you admit you just made the ridiculous part up?

    ReplyDelete
  34. LOL No you fool. It is a word that summarises opinion. That's why we have words you fool. I didn't want to list ALL the different nuanced expressions such as f***** aburd, the referee was a c***, it was never a red card, it was a booking, all neutrals agreed and wrongly sent off (yellow at best), you SUM that up with the word absurd, or ridiculous, or pathetic or crass or whatever word you choose. The point is, Leeds fans, and Warnock, were insisting that the referee had got it wrong; the FA disagree. And I agree with the FA!

    ReplyDelete
  35. saying it was just a yellow and saying the red was 'ridiculous' are different things altogether. plus,i bet those are the only three examples you can find. i myself thought it was probably a red just because of the speed he went in. any chance of an article on england tonight??

    ReplyDelete
  36. whats with the name calling HF? im only trying to have the debate you crave so much!

    ReplyDelete
  37. HF You know you get the truth from me...saturdays defeat was all down to Warnock. The formation was bizzare a sort of squad rotation that was implemented during the game. This played into Watfords hands we had no width or pace. Ok the sending off was debatable but taking Green off?????? For me Varney is garbage and doesn't want to play for our club, he never backed Norris when tempers frayed after a challenge late on and this on the back of not acknowledging Leeds fans after the game at Hillsborough. Warnock used the Austin injury to avoid explaining his tatics and substitutions which were bizzare. Anyway things can only get better. We are not good enough but will never stop following the club I love

    ReplyDelete
  38. The first paragraph makes you sound like a Leeds fan. Claiming the FA supports London clubs when the club you allegedly support in West Ham are in London tells me you follow and care about Leeds more than West Ham.
