Bloody absurd. I have no problem with calls to stop the "Yid Army" chants, nor with the insistence that Spurs clamp down on away fans hissing - I have called for action on here and in forums in the past - but I can't believe the hypocrisy of the "Society of BLACK Lawyers" conducting campaigns against racism.
Tell me, if discrimination is unacceptable and if we are meant to look through the colour of a man's skin, why the fcuk is there a "Society of BLACK Lawyers"? How do you qualify to be a member exactly? Is a law degree enough? Or is being black a prerequisite?
I'm getting sick to death of the double standards involved here. How do I lodge a complaint with the Met regarding the naked racism of this bunch of discriminatory briefs?
Love it. Exactly right. If that's not racist I don't know what is.
ReplyDeleteI'd try the law society or the solicitors regulatory authority.
ReplyDeleteI had exactly the same thought
ReplyDeleteImagine the outrage if someone set up a 'Society of White Layers'
ReplyDeleteglad me and my mates anint alone on this!! these racist inbred fu*ks are making me racist!!! i'm all against stopping racism and agree the john terry and suarez things was wrong and handled poorly but this black players union and these no good racist c*nts saying there are black lawyers are making me think bad of anything with the word black in it!!! they should get the f*ck out football now before they turn EVERYONE against any black who agrees with them!!
ReplyDeleteNow we have Black association in every walk of life. Idiocy has no bounds or colour. Some African idiot probably with inferiority complex formed this Society of Black Racists or Society of Malcolm X. In the name of anti racism , its a clear act of Racism. If these idiots carry on the way they are and this stupid country keep allowing this happening, there will be a massive white backlash and its unavoidable. Do I give a toss about what Society of Black whatever thinks? No..I am a Yiddo and will carry on chanting with Pride.
ReplyDeleteWill this society of lawyers also hit out at black Musician and actors who use the N word either in lyrics or on the big screen????? If they believe the y-word to be one the same level I would like to see the press release threatening all Actor and artist who use these words because its obviously intended to put down and shame.

ReplyDeleteSurely there are many more things in life and the world to get excited/angry about than a society of black lawyers. I am also not sure that reverse racism exists in any meaningful way. Implicit in racisim is the oppression and discrimination of a minority by a powerful majority; by definition then in the UK black organisations may be sectarian or isolationist but not racist. Also I think it unwise to assume that it is job done on the cancer of racism and people of whatever ethnic group are, in a free and progressive society, perfectly entitled to defend what they see as their own interests. These groups aren't necessarily about moaning and complaining much of the work they do is changing mindsets in their own communities; in the case propagating the notion that the law is an attainable career for young black students- more power to their elbow.
The trouble comes when race is used as a weapon and a tool of division Kevin. The activities and existence of groups like this will actually breed resentment and racism. Why are they involved in this? What is their agenda? Look at how the States voted on ethnic lines yesterday. That is dangerous, very dangerous. Either we don't judge on colour or we do. If it is wrong to call somebody a f**** black b****** it is wrong to have a Society of Black Lawyers. It cuts both ways - either we stop identifying people by the colour of their skin or we don't.

agree completely, please do complain because its stressing me out too, and nearly everyone i know agree Society of Black Lawyers is racism in itself- if your white, and made a white laywers organisation you'd quickly be prosecuted by the law, double standards, as the gent above said, it will create divide, and only fuel racism to the extreme if they are allowed to carry on
