Southampton Lose Again As Steve Clarke's Reputation Grows

 

Well bless me, Mr Bibs and Cones is doing well isn't he? He came to West Ham with a great reputation but, tied by chain and ball to the legs of Zola, floundered. Then it was up to Liverpool and, tied by ball and chain to the legs of Dalglish, he sank without trace. But then came the move to West Brom!

How galling must this be for Liverpool fans? Woy left and revived West Bwom; now Clarke has followed the same route and whilst Liverpool cannot win for love nor huge sums of money, little old West Brom are riding high in the table. Mind you, Scotland now need a new manager so perhaps the Baggies will be searching for yet another new boss very soon!

Meanwhile, Southampton continue to sink like a proverbial stone. All that money spent, and for what? At this rate, they will struggle to get to 20 points come the end of the season!
