Il Duce Di Canio Throws Toys Out Of Swindon Pram

So poor old Paolo is upset because the administrator, on behalf of the new owners of Swindon Town, sold a player to Bournemouth without getting the OK from Il Duce first which is, according to the combustible Italian, in breach of his contract.

This has echoes of Alan Turds Curbishley who walked out on West Ham after the sale of McCartney for over £6m and successfully sued the club for constructive dismissal afterwards. The fact that the sale of Linda for that figure must represent one of the most astute pieces of transfer business ever done by the club didn't come in to the calculations seemingly.

Never mind that Turds paid £7m for Dyer, £2m for Ljungberg, £2m for Callum Downpipe, £6m for Boa-Morte...

Di Canio seems to have made his peace for now. But his spats are increasing in frequency and it is surely only a matter of time before he pushes his chairman to the floor!

  2. Have you noticed how you try to give various managers nicknames hoping that they catch on but it's only you that ever uses them? I named you armchair hammer and now everyone uses it. Funny that.

  3. Still if you go on Toryboy Dales site, they all love Paolo the Mussolini-snouter on there. And in a starnge way, that would suit the 'manor' perfectly.
By the way, I still live in Newham, and use my son's season ticket when he doesn't go.

By the way, Noble and even more so, Tomkins are just not up to the 'heroes of old'. As for DiCanio - excellent - if erratic - footballer, but a complete plonker as a 'man'.
    I mean, Mussolini FFS !

Still, keep on lovin' that huggable little fascista. He'll soon return to ROme [Lazio], claiming that like Mussolini, he was 'misunderstood.
    Luckily for him, no lamposts.....

  6. Funny thing about football managers/players they all seem to be knobs as men so get me DiCanio as manager for he is a football genius and football is why I go to West Ham certainly not for the shite Allardyce serves up

  7. Deane, isn't it bad enough that the fans make Nazi salutes without having a manager who return the gesture?
