Spurs Supporting Judge Raps Former Hammer Fletcher

Poor Carl Fletcher. Judge Francis Gilbert rebuffed his claim that he was far too famous to be one of the 12 good men and true on Jury service. It seems that playing 53 times for West Ham, scoring 3 goals in the process, including the beauty that kept Tottenham out of the Champions League, is not enough to take you into the superstar bracket. Never mind that he played in the greatest FA Cup Final ever and that his wife allegedly played her part in the fall of Alan Pardew, Carl still has to do his Jury service alongside 11 absolute nobodies.

How outrageous is this? It wouldn't happen to Michael Caine, so why should poor Carl suffer this terrible indignity?
