So McBenni has refused two opportunities to play competitive football.
What does that say about the guy? He can only rot in the reserves at Upton Park, but that's preferable to playing in front of a paying audience for two clubs with a proud history apparently. What a tosser!
Why did he turn down Wednesday and Charlton? Apparently the kebabs in Sheffield and South of the River are not up to scratch and you can't get a good Bunny Chow for love nor money!
theres plenty of good kebabs south of the river
ReplyDeleteIs there? Best one I've ever had was from a greasy cafe on the Holloway Road. Never really found a good one south of the Thames.
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell's that in the picture?
ReplyDeleteA bunny chow, a traditional South African dish. Hollowed out loaf with curry in the middle - traditionally rabbit presumably although Deane may correct me. A McBenni special!
ReplyDeleteI guess that the reason he is refusing to go is because he has to accept a reduction in his wages. He knows he is too old to make a career for himself from here on. He is just cashing in as much as possible before retiring. Another reason why we should be buying only young talent. Ba and Obinna are for me good acquisitions and at the right age. I am not so sure about Keen.
ReplyDeleteThe sight of it has put me off dinner tonight. Pity it doesn't have the same effect on Benni!
ReplyDeleteHow are you supposed to eat it? Fork and knife?
ReplyDeleteDid you play the premier league fantasy game this year HF?
Yep, with a knife and fork. And you dunk the white heart of the loaf in the sauce. It is very good actually. I've made one for myself. Makes a change from rice.
ReplyDeleteNo I didn't Stani.
Makes no difference to his wages Sav. In fact, he could earn appearance money and goal scoring bonuses on top of the salary we would still have to pay him!
So, why is he not going then? !!!
ReplyDeleteIs he just too lazy to be playing football? He is not going to be playing for West Ham and he knows that. It defies logic!
Bet that gets messy. You can't beat chapatis with curry HF...or fresh naan. You have a lot of rice?
ReplyDeleteYou should start a small league next season...me, you, Marty, Sav, Fred, Kareem, Deane, Essex, Dave, T.I.S, John, Headmaster, Isaac, Anonymous, Anonymous...and Anonymous. It'll show us how much you really know about players :)
I told you, he checked out the kebab houses! And if he plays, he has to run. He's worried about suffering a heart attack.
ReplyDeletegood idea stani. fantasy gotta do it next year
ReplyDeleteHas anyone even actually finished one of those? How does it not all spill into your lap when the bread goes soggy?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea about the fantasy footy Stani. I will have some of that, as i am sure most of the other regular readers will.
Reckon the only time Benni runs is when he heading for the bog
ReplyDeleteSpotted Marti in the West Ham Supporters section of the Fantasy League, just above me.....swine.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you Stani?
I've run a League in this for a few yers now. Great fun and very addictive.
It starts to take precedence over ACTUAL football!
Easy to organise and join.
Let's do it next season.
Only problem is we won't be able to include any of our beloved Hammers...LOL
John V P
(Fortunesalwayshiding)
Definitely. As long as you pick Noble Fred!
ReplyDeleteGonna do the official premier league one. It's free and has the best format.
Good strong crust at the side Chunky. When you breach the dam it runs out a bit but you use the dough scooped out from the inside to soak that up. You don't put the loaf straight on to your lap!
ReplyDeleteChunky, forgive me, how could I forget you?!?! Where have you been? Your fault.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your mini-league code John? I can still jump into yours no?
I'm 1,087th position of all West Ham fans on 1488. Quite good for a first timer. I got a sick team...tossers get injured though.
Sick and injured mate? Have you signed up Curbishley's medical team? 1,087th position? Bloody hell! Are you sure you're not Zola?
ReplyDeleteOoooo! We'll see next season big boy, if you can walk the walk. All talk now aren't you? Sick as in bad, bad as in good.
ReplyDeleteHF 1721, you mean you actually use a plate? i have been wondering why i always get so messy eating my pie and mash lol.
ReplyDeleteStani, ive had a lot going on lately so havent been commenting as much. Still looking in every day though.
