You couldn't write it! QPR fans have been gloating over the capture of England's 666, but as soon as he pulls on a gRs shirt, dear old Rob promptly hands a goal to the no mark Indonesian opponents. High ball into the ball, up goes Green under no pressure, and he drops the bloody ball. Gooaaaaaaaaallllllllll!
Not sure if this will make it on to the QPR News Now board, but if it does guys, best get used to this! Before you know it, you'll be remembering Paddy Ha Ha Kenny affectionately!
If you have a dodgy heart, best look away every time the ball is crossed into the box! And watch out for long shots too. Anything from outside the box tends to take Rob by surprise. And any free kick within goal scoring range is a certain goal if on target because Rob's wall building belongs in Jericho!
Harsh HF.
ReplyDeleteI was personally sad to see Rob Green go and will be interested to see if our current crop of keepers save us any where near as many points as he did in his time at the club.
Green is an excellent reaction keeper, but he did have a tendency to lose concentration. He probably won us about as many points as he lost each season
ReplyDeleteAgree with above. Very harsh. And I seem to remember Green's finest save for us was from a Gareth Bale free-kick! Another cobblers thread from this poor, poor blog!!
ReplyDeletePathetic & very fickle.
ReplyDeleteI was gutted to see Greeno go, & QPR have had a MAJOR coup.
Is that all you have got mate green dropped a howler. What about tony fernandes putting his money were his mouth is what did you say last season again. Realistically if rangers finish 12 to 15 that's a good season westham will definitely be in a relegation battle. I like westham hf and enjoy your blogs mate but you were wrong about tony and I do worry about your squad its not going to fair well my friend
ReplyDeleteGreen was god awful. The only game I cheered for green was the us/England. That's because I'm American!
ReplyDeleteCome on mate. Green did good for us for many years. The man deserves some respect. He was never a worldclass-keeper that's for sure. But when was the last time we had a worldclass-player at all?
ReplyDeleteBlogs like this why I hate news now.... Greeno is a west ham legend, without him we probably wouldn't of even got promoted! It's unfortunate the way he left us but he'll always be a legend... OLE OLE OLE OLE GREEEENO GREEEENO !
ReplyDeleteGreen is the worst keeper I have ever seen in the premiership, even worse than spurs's Gomes on his worst day! I have seen better sunday league keepers that were tanked up the night before and still full of the previous evenings ale and kebab. In fact I bet any one here I'd be a better keeper even if i was chosen to play up front as well as cover the goal mouth as well. How can Rob Green have the audacity to pick up his wage at the end of the week/month? I bet he sends his mum/girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteSuperb HF! Green was a great stopper but couldn't deal with crosses and could never command his area! People waffle on about how many points he saved us but he lost us just as many!
ReplyDeleteOn top of all that, he was a miserable shit!
I wasn't sad to see him go at all!
i think the fact there was no massive out cry because we let him go says it all...turn that to Noble, if we dont sort his contract out and he walks there will be riots in east london...
ReplyDeleteNot a big fan of Green, although he did fine for us during his time, just nothing to write home about
Paddy Kenny will always be remembered fondly by the Rangers Massive, no matter how good or bad Green turns out to be.
ReplyDeleteNot very clued up on the famous Queens Park Rangers are you?
WE R QPR
