£135m spent, and for what? A piss pot of a trophy and the dream of the FA Cup. Dalglish may feel that trophies matter most, but the accountants disagree. Whilst Dalglish offers distractions, Manchester United are being offered the title on a plate. And with Chelsea and Arsenal weak this year, 2011-12 was the chance for Liverpool to climb back into the Champions League box seat. The failure to do so is a terrible indictment of the club and its management, especially after all that money was spent.
Meanwhile Newcastle, minus Carroll, Barton and Nolan - the team's nucleus many thought - are level on points with Chelsea and have an outside chance of overhauling Tottenham and Arsenal. What a fantastic job Pardew has done! And he must have reduced the wage bill and be showing a profit on transfer dealings whilst about it! And what did Pardew ever achieve as a player?
It's time for Dalglish to step aside and Liverpool fans in increasing numbers are beginning to recognise the fact. Time it right, and the club might even capture Allardyce as his replacement!

ateam not playing well is bad enough but to me the worst incident
to day was the substitution of andy carroll not because i am his biggest fan but i thought it was absolutely disgraceful to expose him to such ridicule by the newcastle supporters i thought dalglish was a sensitive person but to do that to a player was totally out of order
It is time for King Kenny to go and for Rafael Benitez to come back. Thankfully, Reina's sending off is a blessing in disguise.

If I were Liverpool I might take a close look at Alan Pardew as a successor to Dalglish.
Time for "king" kenny to dethrone and the board pick up the phone to a certain Mr Benitez, at least with Rafa we challenged, we are becoming a joke under Kenny. Great player - average manager, just ask Newcastle and Celtic...only reason he won with Blackburn was because of Jack Walkers bankrolling at a time when other clubs couldnt compete.

I never wanted Kenny back at Liverpool as football in this country had moved on since Dalglish quit management. He came back at the fans request and stabilised the club. Kudos to him. The reality is now staring us in the face about King Kenny's management. Liverpool need a new young manager with new ideas. Too many British players have finally landed Dalglish in the dump.
KK not wasting 135 k if u know that the amount he get by selling players...make a research first...thats why john henry still not react...if i'm not mistaken, its about 35 k only...
The only 2 ambitious coaches that i would suggest is madrid's Jose M or Barce's Pep G. Anyway i would like KK to step down himself rather to being sacked by the board
I love Rafaz tactical acumen and his knowledge of the game, was very sad to see him go...but c'mon, his man management skills are virtually non-existent. I hope we stop looking towards the past and build for the future with a clean slate... kind of what BVB Dortmund are doing!
Give KK a year more... he deserves that! Enough of the past. Benitez is a great coach, but a bad man manager. Hope to see something like at BVB Dortmund.... a fresh approach w/o any past hang ups!

Show some respect to Dalglish - one of our greatest players (with Liddell and Gerrard) and an excellent manager on his first stint.
He left due to stress - the stress of Hillsborough.
He did not have to come back for this, he did it out of duty to the club he feels he let down.
Dalglish is and always will be a Liverpool legend, pass and move football is and always will be successful. Barcelona are the prime example but Kenny at times in his quest to prove himself correct has tried to accommodate his £35 million mistake that is Andy Carroll and in turn has disrupted the flow. He has been blindly loyal to the players at times and some of them have not repaid his faith and loyalty. But we can all point the finger of blame at the players or Kenny but the truth is Kenny needs to adapt his tactics and style and attitude towards the modern game and learn from mistakes. Most footballers are over paid glory hunters with little loyalty to team or manager so as a manager if a player doesn't show the level of commitment required it is his duty to remove the deadwood as much as footballers leave for greener pastures. King Kenny lives and breathes Liverpool Football Club and my heart hopes he will succeed as manager but my heads not to sure, but I am a fool for King Kenny and I always listen to my heart.
