Tomkins and Noble in PFA Championship Player of the Year Team

No Nolan. No Vaz Te. No Faye. No John Carew. No Allardyce signings in fact.

Nope, just two home grown Hammers. Maybe there is a lesson here somewhere.

Where's the next generation of Academy boys Big Sham? And the Noble critics might just like a slice of humble pie whilst we are about it!

Yes, and Scott Parker in the PFA Premier League team. I hope that humble pie is a big one.

The critics that said he was a Championship player, HF? More like it proves their point! Guy's a trundler.

Anony-mouse says,

Well done to Tomkins and Noble - good solid seasons. Tomkins in particular has developed so much this year.

I find it a tad strange that Vaz Te was omitted- loads of goals for a struggling Barnsley followed by almost one a game since he joined us.

Finally following your logic that Noble critics should now be eating a slice of humble pie, would you care to join them and have a slither of it yourself HF as Scott Parker made the PFA Premier League team. Hmmm, not hungry eh?

Noble is an accident waiting to happen in every game. Slows our midfield and cannot improve on what you see. Christ knows how he is in the West Ham team never mind the PHA team.

Anony-mouse has point. I know it's a bit crap to be shot down by your own logic but only fair you respond HF.

20:30 I prefer it when he doesn't respond that's when you know he's losing at his own Game.

It's no wonder we shed midfield talentno credit has been given to that midfield workhorse in all the time I've been watching West Ham Paul Allen was the first to go and so it continues Poor ol' Noble one of our best players (damn side better than Parker)a West Ham fan and a product of our youth team longest serving player etc No wonder Sam doesn't get the grief he should be when fans think the sun shines out of Parkers spinning arse and slate the West Ham boy that would be in the Bobby Moore if he wasn't bossing our midfield
