Chelsea and West Ham on a level playing field at last!

With the news of the embargo on Chelsea signing any new players until 2011, we at last find ourselves on a level playing field with the plastic giants! I can't wait for The Grand Puppet Master Duxbury's next press release:

"I am happy to report that West Ham will be just as competitive as Chelsea in the transfer market over the next 18 months. I have worked tirelessly to put West Ham into a position where we can stand toe to toe, side by side, with our West London rivals when it comes to attracting high quality players. I am delighted to announce that I have now achieved that goal. Gianfranco Zola has my assurances that he stands just as much chance as Ancelloti of signing top players for the foreseeable future. Who would have thought that within 18 months of my becoming CEO we would be in a position to compete on equal terms with the billions of Abromovitch?"

I love it.
Chelsea get a punishment and you still make it into a sly dig at the club!
You are obsessed.
Is it dark where you are?
In your room painted black with a single picture of Duxbury on the wall and a PC logged onto the Org?

The fact is that Chelsea will appeal and no doubt be fine whereas we will buy or loan at least one player in the January window because we will have sold Upson as he is still on an Eggert wage.

At the end of the day we have been severely screwed by the incompetence of BG et all and are still over paying Upson, Parker and Dyer at least.
