Moyes Indentifies West Ham As Gimme Points

Despite saying how Zola deserves to be supported and how Everton have to be focused, Moyes has identified a game against our six in a row losers as gimme points. You can ignore all the other political crap, what Moyes feels about the game boils down to "If you are playing West Ham at home, you have to think that is one of the games you have to win."

He is right, of course, but it hurts to read it. Would Moyes have said this when Curbishley or Pardew were in charge? It might have read "one of those games you are looking to win" but Moyes makes it sound as if we are a lower division side arriving at Goodison Park in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

How insulting! Yes we are a punch bag for Everton and have been for as long as I have supported the club, but I don't remember a manager ever being so dismissive of our status. Read the rest of his comments and it is all so damn patronising. I remember our fury when Bilic joined Everton because they were a "bigger club". Well we couldn't argue about that now!

The worry is that Everton want the points, are focused and go into the game with a fit and hungry squad. If we ship a goal in the first 15 minutes, God help us!

Come On You Punch Us And We Fall Down And Don't Get Up Again Irons!
