Capello's Credibility Running On Empty - He's In The Brown Stuff Up To His Nose!
Not content with poking Rob Green in the eye, Capello has now slapped every other English qualified keeper in the face by declining to call up a replacement for Robinson after the Blackburn keeper told him where to stick his invitation to join up with the England team.
So have Kirkland and Carson also declined Capello's invitation to reignite their international careers, or is Fabio effectively telling them that having nobody between the sticks is preferable to either of them? What is he saying to Rob Green meanwhile? Not in a million years will you ever play for England again, apparently.
Remember, nobody forced Capello to pick Green for that game against the USA. I was certainly opposed to his selection and his gaffe came as no surprise to me. So, in a sense, it wasn't Green's error, it was Fabio's mistake for picking him. On the basis that Green is now persona non gratis, shouldn't Fabio be consistent and resign himself therefore?
Now Wes Brown has announced his retirement from international football too! Once again, you have to wonder why on earth Capello didn't talk to his players before he announced the squad. How bloody foolish does he look?
Still, we can make do without a right back too presumably!

how bout a post about the fact cappello has dropped all the players who didnt get a chance at the world cup and 8 players from the line up against germany are still in it surely t makes more sense to drop the eleven in that game or every1 who got more then 20 mins on the pitch in south africa and pick a new team from scratch like france
He has picked Dawson mate.
And Hart.
yeah but he is still thinks he has got it right i am going to the game on wed and not looking forward to it which is a shame
It's a shame but the multi-millionaires that are England footballers need England games less than club games today for two main reasons.
1. Sgt Major Capello is now being seen as a loser who hasn't got a clue.
2. England doesn't pay them for their time like their clubs do.
I'm not sure what they get from the FA but it won't be very much. When you are on £30+k a week why risk losing your place or an injury so that you can sit on the bench and only get to play when the 1st choice gets injured?
How about a post about the 25 squad limit including 8 home grown players?
I count 28/29 players involved in the first team and apparently Avram still thinks the squad is too light.
So how many players are being sold before the deadline or which ones will be left out.....and who are the 8 homegrown players that must have be under 21 and and signed by the hammers for 3 years.
