Anybody else notice David Gold's Freudian slip when talking about the financial problems that now beset the game? Apparently, we are now witnessing "A kink in the armour"!
Now maybe David was anxious to avoid allegations of racism, causing him to side step the use of the term "chink", or maybe his mind had wandered to amorous thoughts about an armoured gimp lurking somewhere in his porn cupboard?
Turning to Brady, Gold says, "Bring out the gimp", and out clangs Sullivan in his coat of shining armour!
