West Ham Buying Season Ticket Sales

Here we go again! It's that time of year when, desperate to sell season tickets, the Board reveal a host of players we are negotiating to "buy". With major credibility issues involved with claiming to be in the market to sign the likes of Beckham and Van Nistelroy this year, Sullivan has contented himself with giving a number - Five! Five players we are bidding for, Five! Not four, not three, not two, not one, but FIVE. Got that son? Five. Never mind the quality, feel the width. That's FIVE new players son. Five!

So with FIVE new players in the pipeline already - and Sam Pot still on holiday - how can anybody resist buying a season ticket, especially when the club are generously holding prices for next season in the N Power at the prices charged for the Premiership! You too can see Doncaster Rovers for the same price as you paid to see Man Utd. Unless you wait and buy them on the door at a knock down price of course!

I know that as dildo sellers, Sullivan and Gold are used to having overly eager cnuts as customers but surely even the most dim witted West Ham fan will see how he is being shafted; won't he?

There'll be more games next season, so does the ticket still work out expensive?

I demanded a refund when we sold Rio because theclub had said he's staying then a week after we'd all paid for season tickets he was off to Leeds (the sale that cost us a team that would have won the European cup If Mr Brown ever thinks about it I wonder if he goes cold at the thought of how much he lost by opting for the instant reward)so I phoned them and got my money back No questions nothing I had had a season ticket from the time I arrived in this country so from 81-82 season till then and was just told ok your money will be refunded ie then crawl back under the rock you emerged from degenerate hooligan we really don't care The club has been passed on from one wide boy to the next with the short term view of make as much as you can as quick as you can Lie cheat rob steal and pocket the cash
I feel like someone has been shagging my missus and I don't have the bollocks to kick the bitch into touch

The Fans will no doubt spot this.... but people like you who don't pay, don't go to games and encourage drug dealers and human traffickers by using illegal streams then I doubt it.

Guys, I am trying to create a little optimism for myself. I believe every target has Sams backing. 100%. I understand hesitating re-upping for the season ticket, but if I were there Id be buying in a flash.

We had our last day of school here, and our 6th grade teacher got a tryout as a kid with Ol' Busby himself at Man U. We always have a nice chat about football, and today was no different. He had sent me a condolence email when we went down, so I thanked him.

"Going down in 74 was the best thing that could have happened to my club" he said. "Gave us the chance we needed to start fresh".

I feel good for the first time in a very long time about my team. I think in a few years we will look back the same way.

Rationalizing is fun!

Good on you Dave! Hope you are right. Keep your faith, I will maintain a watching brief.

Now there's an intereting link 0106, streaming on the internet and drug dealers and illegal immigrants? Couldn't you have squeezed in paedophiles as well?

Anonymous said...

It isn't a victimless crime!

Not according to UK authorities, "illegal streaming is like DVD piracy and is a lucrative part of a wider network that involves criminal gangs, drug dealers, people smugglers, paedophile rings and even terrorists. They say it is an easy way for gangs to raise funds for their other criminal activities".

Not so smug now are you?

Awards? I noticed you've not been nominated, again! http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/06/05/201011-caughtoffside-awards-vote-now/6/ thought someone, somewhere we have noticed the quality of your work and all those hits, but apparently not.

USA Dave, an optimist after my own heart; If not for optimism then why else would any of us support this club? HF and Deane are right (although they do sound a little bitter, especially Dean) Our Club really has been run by a bunch of cnuts in the past. I can't see (at this point) that SuGo are any different; time will tell I supose. But seriously? what kind of a Dipsh*t is going to rush out to buy a season ticket after what Sullivan said last year and is saying again now. Fool me once: shame on you! fool me again: What a CNUT I am!

Just as smug. You see, if I were to watch an internet stream, I would not pay a penny for doing so. The advertisers may have something to answer for, and anybody who buys anything from those advertisers, assuming that there is an arch criminal behind the activity, which I very much doubt. Most streaming, like most file sharing in music, is arnarchic in nature - striking back against the likes of Sky.

0958, I don't back link to caughtoffside. I have been asked to do so and declined. Not part of the mutual back scratching I'm afraid. And, unlike KUMB, I do not allow tracking cookies to attach when you visit this site. You see, I don't do this for money; I don't need to.

I don't know about everybody else but I hardly get to any games as I live too far away. I love my team and have followed them from afar, thru thick & thin, for the best part of 40 years. The last time I brought my family to Upton Park there were 8 of us including my parents. It was a great day (and we won) but with the tickets; the food and drink for the day; the train links and the fuel costs I was down by getting on for £500. I don't subscribe to Sky Sports because there are too few Hammers matches on to justify the subscription charges. I don't often go to the pubs because there are normally too many pissed and opinionated idiots present. If sky or whoever televised EVERY single match on pay-per-view I would willingly pay a fiver to watch each game. Until then however if someone is going to make a match viewable in a public domain then why shouldn't I watch it for free? It's no different to sitting in your flat if your lucky enough to live above Upton park and watch the match out of your window. If one of your so-called criminals are putting these matches out there they certainly ain't getting any money from me! You really are a self righteous prick Anonymous 01:06/09:33

Spot on Dave!

I pay for internet streaming and don't think that it can be any worse or do more harm to society than giving it to rupert murdoch

17:13 yes but really 1,000,000 hits - surely you should have been nominated for an award or two - I know KUMB and WHTID both have over the years. Unless of course this place is rubbish and doesn't warrant any kind of recognition.

Just checked my cache - and there are umpteen tracking cookies from TGGC - you don't know your arse from elbow when it comes to IT.
