Boy George or John Boy? He's signed short term anyway!

So, Allardyce has added to the squad at last. Is he John George, George John, Boy George, John Boy or John  Ringo Paul George? God only knows!

I've never heard of him? Have you? He's big at 6'3, so he is a typical Allardyce player, but that's just about any of us know at the moment. Not one to set the pulses racing or to sell replica shirts by the thousands for certain!

Still, he's on loan which presumably means Doctor Evil can spend more on Rhodes. We will see.

Lol HF you have a point, doesn't matter how good they look, players have a habit of burning out and flopping when they come to Upton Park. Anyway the way I see it the signing of a centre half
is good because we've been short there and scary at the same time with Tonks being linked to top flight opposition. COYI.

One thing I noticed about Rhodes is he has no pace. Ok scoring in league 2, put Championship/Prem?

Don't know if you're going to Ipswich away HF, but if you buy home tickets in the Cobbold stand in section E those tickets go in through the same turnstyles as away fans and all that seperates the away fans at Portman road is a metal bar and no one bats an eye lid if you move there. Spread the word, our allocation will no doubt sellout so lets take as many fans as we can! COYI.

What is it with our club, unknown USA defenders and a Japanese 30 year old on trial, 30 years old and having a trial, i can tell you myself Sam if he's that old and still playing in Japan then he ain't good enough. Then we have this USA defender who's yet to win an international cap but looks good on YouTube, haven't we learnt our lesson? Are we that much of an unattractive proposition to a decent player or are the owners only interested in scouring the bargain basement?

HF the all seeing, all predicting eye hasn't heard of him so he must be crap. God knows why the powers of be a WHU don't get HF on their books as a scout / trainer / coach.

Being a season ticket holder of the Houston Dynamo, I've had the opportunity to see the guy play. Solid and useful, but nothing that screams quality. He will not take your breath away, either with spectacular play or with howlers. I hope we do better as the month goes one, but he does add needed depth to the back line.

Plays in MLS. Has never been called up to the national team. Only other team that showed interest is Blackburn.

Sums it up I would think.

2106 Was that an attempt at humour? Failed.

No, just a genuine question to your question. Where did I say that you said he was crap? pretty simple question really, can't imagine why you're having trouble answering.

21:33 - it's "fail" actually. Common vernacular isn't one of your strong points is it? Ask the kids next time, they'll put you right.
