Blackpool Defeat Keeps Hope Alive!

OK Villa won but they were never going down were they? Blackpool's defeat against Arsenal was huge. I had a bad, bad feeling about that one so was mightily relieved to get in from a day at the beach to find the Arse had tonked them.

It's down to three from five in my book, West Ham, Wolves, Wigan, Blackpool and Blackburn!

Give us a new manager and I would take West Ham out of those five. But with Avram Grant at the wheel we are definitely religation candidates (if not certainties). I hope I am wrong because I don't see how they would change AG before the end of the season.

Yes, Blackburn have a tough run in too HF. It's good though, if they go down we can buy Hoillet off them. We need to get him, McCarthy from Wigan and the winger Phillips from Blackpool. Three class young players. I wish I was director of football at our club!

How about Paul Lambert at Norwich as manager? He's turned them around and is a highly regarded young manager. They're in the automatic promotion places. Good things is, if we get him now and still get relegated, he'll be well equipped.
