Sounds brilliant doesn't it? But as a West Ham fan, three names come to mind: Tevez, Mascherano and Barrera. Now all Rs will know the story of Tevez, and will realise that West Ham were used as a stable for conditioning the Argentinians before they moved on to Manchester United and Liverpool. It is true that Tevez eventually got his finger out and started playing for the club around about February, but it took him fully 5 months to acclimatise, whilst Mascherano drifted off before completing a pass for the club!
Barrera, meanwhile, arrived from Mexico after a good World Cup - the real deal, not the U20 one - and last summer was brilliant in the Gold Cup, firing Mexico to victory. But in England? Well the guy was hopeless, unhappy and completely out of his depth.
And if Henrique is so good, and he is so committed to the club, and Fernandes has so much money, why is he being signed on loan initially? Odd that.
QPR fans pinning their hopes on Henrique may be in for a big disappointment. Barrera left a nasty taste in the mouths of West Ham fans and there is something fishy about this deal. And if you are facing the prospect of going down, the last thing you want is something fishy in the Brazilian Bush.

Can you not go a day without slating QPR, and as a west ham fan and finding it pretty annoying that these stories are popping up on newsnow as west ham feeds. Lets just concentrate on our club. Your as bad a the spuds internet trawlers who regularly post on our blogs.
QPR fan here....and suprised as I am to admit it, i agree with pretty much all of that.
Hopefully we have some other strikers in the pipeline and not just Henrique, who was failed to make a mark in any of his senior appearance so far
Lol at the last line. two things, although it may not work out there is not doubt that this is a coup and as he is a 20 year old with minimal initial fees the pressure won't be on him to perform immediately. i doubt this will be the only striker signing. secondly those types of deal are common in brazil and you said it yourelf, why commit to a player that might not work out? i have to remind you that even if fernandes only had a can of beans we would still be the worlds richest club.
Unlike some of your followers? on this site I find that your comments are always entertaining. sometimes stimulating but never dull. But why do you keep banging on about QPR? I couldn't give a toss and I suspect most other West Ham fans don't either.
