No Taylor, No Left Flank

So Allardyce has signed a big lump for the back, and is offering to buy any striker with more than five goals to his name, but the most glaring hole in the team is still being ignored. When Taylor is fit we have balance on the left but when he is injured - and when isn't he? - who do we have to play there? Answer: nobody.

It is a ridiculous situation but nothing is being done about it.

So who plays wide left at Portsmouth? Probably Baldock and that is a ridiculous waste of the boy's ability. Get your finger out Allardyce!

Sam seems happy that we are creating chances, just not our finishing. Guess s wide player isn't high on his list. Which is a pity, I heard whittingham (Cardiff)was on the "list". Great player

I'm with you 100% on this point HF,its like a festering wound that ALLARDYCE refuses to tend to.What are TAYLOR'S match stats ? ..not good,...how can he be relied on through a season. He is the one player who has performed to a decent standard when he has played, excellent assists and goals to games ratio for a wide player. Not forgetting, the all important stat, is his contribution to the teams goals tally when he plays. The club have failed to fill the wide positions with quality for a long time now and lets just hope ALLARDYCE doesn't waste this opportunity in the January window .Putting BALDOCK out wide is a bloody joke ,WTF is ALLARDYCE thinking of?
