Odd isn't it? Mittal has all this money, Fernandes has let everybody believe that there is a huge transfer war chest available, but thus far, only £2.5m has been spent, and that is probably based on meeting Nedum's inflated wages over the next two years. As with Wright-Phillips and Barton, you'll probably find that no fee has actually been paid to the "selling" club. With relegation release clauses in place, Fernandes knows that should Rangers drop, he can offload at modest fees, recovering the money spent on wages.
Now Diakite is arriving on loan - and what's his first name? Samba! So that's the Samba that Fernandes was chasing! Not the £7m man at Blackburn but the freebie loan deal from Nancy!
But Cisse could be on his way too - on loan of course!
I predicted Fernandes would not spend more than £5m in this window and even that figure is looking toppy now. Nedum is ordinary, Teiwo is probably a spent force, Diakate probably isn't Premiership class and Cisse has been here and been stripped of the Premiership t shirt after scoring just 23 goals in 84 Premiership appearances. His 17 appearances for Lazio have yielded a grand total of one goal so far!
Now excuse me, but is this really what you gRs were expecting when you came on here telling me that QPR would buy their way to safety in this window? Check back on all the insults you have hurled in my direction; so far I have been proved absolutely right: you are in a relegation fight, just as I predicted; you have sacked Warnock, just as I predicted; and Fernandes has kept his money in his safe, just as I predicted. Tell me, how much will you get from TV revenue and prize money for playing in the Prem this season? A hell of a lot more than Fernandes has stumped up to fund transfers!
Says it all really doesn't it? I kept warning you, Fernandes is mugging you over! And before you say it guys, I have been warning that Sullivan and Gold are doing exactly the same at West Ham ever since they took charge!
PS, the wrong you're has been used in that picture! Bloody morons everywhere it seems!
70 comments:
1. i dont see anything wrong with buying at the best price you can get.
2. the window isnt closed yet. so lets wait and see.
3. have you explained what your obsession with qpr is, as ive read through your posts and you dont mention anyone but qpr...... ive seen many people here ask you what your obseession is.. so in ALL SERIOUSNESS i ask you again. WHAT IS YOUR BEEF WITH QPR
Lets wait until tomorrow mate and see....if your right well done if not are you Man enough to put up an apology ???
as a qpr fan, i have read a few of your articles, and although there are some exceptions, they are usually well written and i do have to agree with a lot of what was said.
I like your analysis on the "no mark" players, Just remind which premier league club you manage again!
Blissful ignorance!
Looks like Jelavic going to EFC for £5.5m, what happened your your £7m bid?

Imagine that then hf , No brazilian(s)plural in the bush. No major signings apart from a loanie. All fell through , just like the new ground ideas.Maybe , just maybe if people look outside of the blinkers then hf might just be making some sense , who knows hey !!!
24 January 2012 15:27
still the same then , more loanies no major signings
Pot - Kettle - Black!!
Jelavic? Nah!!
Maynard? Nah!!
Tevez!! HeHeHe (madness moment!!).
Does anyone want to come to The Boleyn??
ANYONE!!! Please!!
ANYONE out there!!!!!
Pleeeeaassseeeee!!!!
Hold on.. that guy from Barnsley.. what's his name? Vaz Te? (striker with 16 goals in 108 games!!!). OMG!!
Like an ugly girl in the club.. not any good but at least willing!!!
Hold on.. let me get back to my second favourite team and see how the Superhoops are doing!!
Please .. what is the fascination with QPR if you support West Ham. I just dont understand the posts always being about QPR.
is there no news about west ham as everytime icome on this site your slaging qpr off why not change the name of this site to ( i hate qpr P
You really are a sad nonce. Did your dad molest you? I wish my club was run by dildo merchants
Surely even a fool like yourself can see it makes sense to get players in on loan at this stage of the season, yes QPR are in a relegation battle and the big names probably wont want to be involved, also nearly all of the decent players are not avavilable or are being priced out of a move as the selling teams know they can ask what they want.
If QPR survive then they can assess the loan players with a view to sign permanently or return them and buy players in the summer. If they dont then then dont have to worry about massive wage bills and lon term contracts.
It makes sense to loan, but obviously not to you. Not sure why you are so obsessed with QPRs spending habits, why not bore us with your views on other clubs.
do you honestly believe that these loans were freebies and no fees were paid? if so, you have little idea about the way modern football works.
And yes, i applaud Fernandes and the board for spending sensible money on good standard players (and yes, i do believe they are all good solid signings) but not signing them on huge contracts and wages.
Cant argue that he hasn't spent big money on permanent transfers, but I guarantee that Fernandes has already spent over 5 mil on these loans in fees alone
A few rules: no racism, no obscene language, and nothing that could see me or you in court!
this from your own page... then you make that appalling post about ferdinand not shaking terrys hand
you talk about qpr and wh owners conning their supporters(in qprs case the supporters have been given no reason to doubt fernandes). then you slam chris samba for wanting to leave a club who promised everything and delivered nothing.
your posts are sometimes incisive but often contradictory and hypocritical
36 of your 104 articles published so far in January are QPR related. Not bad for a West Ham forum. Clearly you enjoy knocking one out whenever your visitor counter increases.
I agree with you as in he hasn't spent much so far but i like the signings so far. Two of them look gond to mend our leaky defense. Diakite looks a very promising player. Not good dealing buying lots of players on over inflated wages, you know that. I will wait till tomorrow at end of transfer to judge them properly. By the way who hav you signed
I have said repeatedly that I am following QPR in the Prem in our absence. Two thirds of my threads are West Ham related, you guys only see the QPR ones because the West Ham threads don't hit your Board. Check out the history in the right hand panel.
As I keep saying, I really like QPR. Stan Bowles is one of my favourite ever players and I have fond memories of Dave Thomas and Brooking coming on as subs for England and changing the game - against Chzechoslovakia if I remember correctly.
Gerry Francis, Dave Thomas, Dave Clement, Ian Gillard, Don Givens, Phil Parkes, Stan Bowles - I was desperate for you to win the title when you finished runners up. Who else was in that team? Great days.
That said, I don't trust Fernandes as I've kept saying and I have no time for Anton, Gabbidon, Dyer or Warnock for reasons that most understand.
Firstly the window hasn't closed yet, and it's entirely possible that your short sightedness doesn't extend to further than next week. (mystic meg)
At least we have a plan and maybe you should judge our signings after they have played a few games for us. Take Dember ba, didn't do much for you but has Been a revelation at Newcastle. But then I suppose a decent club with decent fans and decent players has brung out the best in him.
Watch the window tomorrow cause my prediction is we've been conservative so that the big buy can be brought in tomorrow.
I will be all agog mate! We made a big signing in January two seasons ago. He was called McCarthy!
Please QPR fans do not take it personally. HF is a media attention whore who would write absoutely anything to get hits on this precious blog.
You should see some of the articles he's written about West Ham and he is supposed to be a hammer!
I mean, supporting QPR in West Ham's absence from the Premier League!? That tells you all you need to know about this moron.
He does not represent West Ham United fans he only represents his own inflated ego.
Although it's unlikely he'll allow this comment to stand.
And what is wrong with following the fortunes of QPR in West Ham's absence from the Prem then Scott? Who do you cheer on, Spurs?
Regardless of who QPR sign, you will criticize it. Apparently every single signing they have made is a poor one. Now im sorry, but i sure would want Taiwo at full-back as opposed to Illunga. Maybe we would have stayed up last year. Also, do not criticise unknown quantities such as Diakite, its people like these who kept our heads just above water for years in our constant struggles. You seem to have attracted more of their fans to this site than hammers fans, and i can honestly see why. This was the final straw from the viewpoint of a loyal Iron, who prefers to focus on his own team as opposed to a team who are, in fact, irrelevant and in a better position financially, managerially, and quality wise. And the fact that Fernandes runs them means nowt. Good Day.
Granted. You have been right all along. Doesn't stop you from being a c*nt.
Hehe, chuckle chuckle. You make me laugh. First paragraph sunny jim. Its called good business sense. Hmm, wasn't there some Icelandic dude who what, oh yea paid shed loads of money for the likes of Ljungberg, Dyer (and don't even bother 6 mill + 60 grand p/w against free and a play as you play deal, phaaaa) and other crap deals who sucked about a 100 mill out of your yesterdays club? Your still getting bailed out because of it by the dildo brigade. Were going places mate, as much as you hate to believe it. Hopefully see you next year when we take 6 points.
DAMN YOU HAVE ONE BIG BONER FOR QPR DON'T YOU.
POST SOMETHING ABOUT WHU IF THATS YOUR TEAM AND STOP WHACKING OFF OVER QPR....................
Tevez to WHU
HA HA HA HA HA HA
U clearly have no idea about football, hence supporting a crap team like west ham.Do u not think that them players won't be getting paid extremely good wages and of course it makes business sense not to pay over the odds for players at this time of season.Next time u want to moan why not winge about ur seedy owners and how they don't have a clue! Still moving into the Olympic stadium....good luck with that.
Must be horrible to be such a jealous hater
Let's see if you are do smug when we trounce you next year
Oh hang on you are far from promoted yet
Hahahaha
Loser!
With all your 'successful' predictions you should have a go a the Lottery! then you can buy a woman to keep you busy instead of bitching about another team. (Mainly QPR)
Im a Spurs fan, and I know bitter hammer fans when I see them. Tides are turning and some clubs are on the up like QPR.....but some clubs are back where they belong...West Ham!
who have West Ham signed this month?
oh and Taiwo spent force haha started most AC Milans champ league games this season and wanted by the Gooners.....must be a really bad player???
I find myself agreeing with you for the seciond time in as many weeks. I think the truth is that its the old, We can say it but dont want to hear it from an outsider.
I am not seeing much 'ambition' coming from our money man, although I do agree to a previous post about buying in January not the best time.
The biggest worry for me isn't actually who we have bought/loaned in but who we are left with as none of the summer signings have given me much to smile about, especially our joke of a captain who is more fame hungry than the entire cast of TOWIE put together!!!
hammersfan QPR fans followed QPR when they were in the championship and did not give a tuppeny about the premier. It's called following your team and not a Division. If you need to follow QPR go ahead, but if we go down this year no one from shepherds bush will be looking for spur results.
Let the infatuation of QPR go......
Anony-mouse says,
HF - what's wrong in following QPR in West Ham's absence is that real fans just don't f*cking do stuff like that. No, really, they don't. Full stop. I follow just West Ham, whatever league they are in- I don't have a Prermiership team unless we are that team. If we end up in the conference I still wn't have a Premiership team.
Scott got it spot on. If you Rangers guys hadn't reacted to him, he'd have moved on to other eams until he found one whose supporters bit. He needs his hits like junkies needs theirs.
And don't take his advice by looking at the West Ham posts. You think he hates your lot? He seems to loathe West Ham even more. He's unlike any West Ham fan I know. His misery knows no bounds. He shows no joy for the claret and blue.
Hammersfan,
Really enjoying the QPR focus and really hope that you are wrong about Fernandes. I'm actually reasonably happy with the signings so far - the latest, Samba Diakite, sounds like a straight replacement for Ale Faurlin who is out injured for the rest of the season.
Let's see what happens tomorrow. We badly need someone to give us more of a cutting edge going forward. I hope the owners come up with the goods.
Are you really a QPR fan because your fascination with our club borders on being obsessive.
Nedum was 2.75 and Cisse is a permanent at 4. Grand total 6.75 million so far. Wrong wrong wrong Hammersfan.
You're strange obsession with QPR still baffles me but I suppose I'm the idiot for continuously biting and posting!!
I think you're being incredibly naive..... I have not once seen any comment from Fernandes or Bhattia that claims we will spend millions of pounds on players. What I have seen are claims of making prudent business decisions that will grow QPR for the future and in my opinion, that's exactly what they are doing!
They have obviously spent money on wages and loan fees on players who should have what it takes to keep us up. Our most exspensive signing so far is also our best.... Mark Hughes!!! He will be on a huge salary and it would have cost a fortune to pay Warnock off.
I think we can all agree that Hughes would not have come if he didn't believe in the plans and for me that is the biggest statement of intent.
I am sure that Hughes and our decent signings will keep us up this season, we will then go from strength to strength, maybe then we can see how much money will be spent in order to move us to the next level. Right now, I'm happy and I think you're points stink of jealousy!!
For the record..... supporting another team in the Prem while your team is in the Championship is seriously stupid!!
Do you ever give up? Please please please get off my news feed. I don't even read you posts any more there so predictable. I've tried being nasty but your just relentless so I'm extending an olive branch. Please leave us alone we have been through enough as a club over the last twenty years we could really do without it. I hope as an iron you never have to go through the same thing. let us enjoy our first year back. Pick on a club that deserves it.X
Telling the truth guys - what's so wrong with that? Remember when you were in mid table and you were calling me a cnut for predicting a relegation battle? No chance you said. Check the history!
Scott, next season at our home game, ( in the premiership) I and many others owe you a pint. Also QPR didn't splash the cash last January and still went up, why should west hamie ?
HF is a fan that no one wants. How can a true West Ham fan start following a club in the premier leage because there team is not there any more.accept where u are and live with it.QPR dontg want you, West Hasm doesnt want you, u are doom and gloom merchant. thats what your life is all about.Doom and Fu#king Gloom!
If you had exhibited any grasp of the deals QPR have been doing, all of these loans are coupled with the fees agreed for transfer in the summer. This means that QPR are not tied to players on big salaries and long contracts should they go down. Good business sense not practised by other clubs in the past - where clubs have to do a fire sale at a big loss just to get them off the wage bill.
In the deals negoatiated QPR can then switch the loans to permanent transfers without any other club being able to bid. In short, all these players are ours on permanent contracts and no other club can come in and sign them for a higher offer as we've already locked down agreed deals with the players and the clubs.
Taiwo is past it? He's 27 and is considered a legend at Marseille where he won two titles and played Champs Lge football. He could;ve gone to Arsenal or Liverpool in the summer and it may not have worked out in Milan, but you can find plenty of players who switched to Italy (from Henry and bergkamp back to Denis Law and Jimmy Greaves) and didn't take to the boot camp squad mentality and rigid, defensive style of play.
I think you are just a little bit peeved.
20:58 great post this season is all about staying up the summer will tell how much money is spent and although hf loves winding us up with sparky as gaffer in his heart he probably knows we will just nick it but then he would get no responses like his hammer blogs if he paid us compliments would he lol hf being a hammer can't blame u for trying to get a rise out of rssss fans but please get behinde westham mate I know big sams football is shite but as long as u go up who gives a fuck allways had a soft spot for the hammers hope u go up and we play each other in the prem next year hf stop being so negative you need a brass or some recreational drugs or maybe both come on u rssssssss
made yourself look a total prat again...who follows another team cos the team they support not doing so good...some fan you are..even your fellow hammers hate you. great loyalty from the same nobhead who was slating samba for wanting to leave blackburn...think its time you closed your blog mate..give it up,you're a twat.
Hey HF,
Keep the truth coming LOL
And don't stop doing what you do!
Respect!
Ur'ssss
I think any sane QPR fan would be happy with 17th this season. Anyway, enjoy Vaz Te. I see Jelavic is off to Everton not West Ham...thankfully it's not as though the Hammers would put in a 'bid' to keep the fans happy then go for the cheap option now would it?
You are in the championship, we are a premiership club. If we can get freebies & a couple of loan signings here & there to keep us in this division, then why not. Your articles are very entertaining though, I think you are a secret Ranger fan. (Farrel Turner - Cape Town SA)
why always write things which try to upset people and make them miserable? Prick.
Rangers fans have gone through pretty much every bad thing in existence, and we still remain loal, so please f@ck off and leave us alone. We are fearful, of course, what can we do but hope. No need to keep rubbing in it you horrible pig.
U know nothing about football, face it west ham r shit and all u do is criticise another club, hypocrite, west ham didnt spend any money when they bought out PRICK!!!!!
Haha - QPR sign Bobby Zamora for 4 million.....
Fernandes won't spend more than 5 million he said 7 million and counting u bellend how much have the hammers spent enjoy the championship next season fuck face
Yeah Brilliant prediction. Little bit more than 5 million and the day ain't over yet. How do you respond to that muppet?
@HF How about your bid for Jelavic. One minute slagging the R's off and look what happened to WH's offer. Turned down. No cash one expects. Enjoy the championship next season!
QPR have already spent 7m, so what are you talking about? Why don't you talk about West Ham's new signing...Tony Cascarino!!
I know you're an Iron but there's no need to write like one!
No wonder Fernandez could afford to splash out. Taarabt's gone :-o
http://www.skybet.com/cms/breaking-transfer-news.shtm?name=Adel+Taarabt
So it appears you may be eating your words after all but lets wait until today is finished to be 100% sure!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16811307.stm
Although i imagine you will still come up with some bollox about why you are still right and you will still refuse to appologise even though you are completly wrong.
I look forward to not seeing your appology!
Soon, Fernando will be signing Shaka Hislop, Konchesky, Scaloni, and the rest of the 2006 'legends'. Mind you, I liked Shaka - he was alright.
Cisse and probably Zamora not a bad bit of buisiness ,still some hours to go .Hopefully your £5 million might be just a tad low .Good luck to the hammers we will see you in the prem next year ???
Onuoha £2.75m, Cisse £4.2m and Zamora £4.5m.... You do the Maths on that. Twat
Why so quiet hf where's all the comments then mate lost your voice because you have been proven to talk utter bollocks don't worry fella we all new that anyway 5 million was it 7 million at the last count pal good luck with the hammers
3-1 down against the 4th from bottom chumps of Ipswich. WHU have no midfield and the crappiest defenders, apart from Tomkins. McCartney is absolute garbage - worse than Faubert, worse than Reid.
They should have bought at least 8 or 9 players. 'Support' this crap - they should be prosecuted under trades descriptions act.
why you do this, why you don't be nice, why you always horriable, why do you want to be hater, no one at QPR supporter want you, West Ham fans don't want you. when you have a vote and I believe you have 80% hater more than 10% liker.
You really need to learn something about football financing. You don't do big transfer business in the window, because you pay OTT money. Loan deals make much more sense at this time of year, but don't let facts get in the way of prejudice. Either way Taiwo is top class.
I see you are still totally and sadly obsessed with QPR. You should be at Portman Road, looks like WHU need all the support they can get.
It's a sellers market so big buys now = inflated prices. Loans make more sense this time of year. Can you grasp that?
Like I said in a previous comment which disappeared into cyberspace, Taiwo is top class and a cracking piece of business.
If you must obsess about QPR on here, at least try and be objective. Any news from Portman Rd?
£12m spent, 2nd highest spent after Chelsea, most signings made in January.
Happy now?
No, of course not. You'll find some other drivel to write.
"Anonymous said...
as a qpr fan, i have read a few of your articles, and although there are some exceptions, they are usually well written and i do have to agree with a lot of what was said.
30 January 2012 18:47"
A QPR fan? yeah right. Nice bit of propaganda.
Can't wait for your next article HF, you muggy bitter c**t... always talking complete shit. If Blackburn had of accepted the very fair offer of £7.5 million (£500,000 more than Chelsea paid for Cahill) that would have taken the transfer fees up to £20 million, along with about £10 million in wages, which mongs like you never take in to consideration when talking about transfer budgets, taking the total to the reported £30 million. Stay bitter.. YOOOOOOOOU RRRRRRRRRRs!
Very worried about your obsession with the boys from the bush, worry about your boys and let it go...good luck to the Hammers Im sure youll make it back to the prem, but give it a rest about QPR>, you aint mentioned too much about the Wall ??? funny that!
snore snore snore get on with your own business before worrying about others
zzzzzzz.................wakes up from bullshit induced coma, one word of advice, make sure your own house is in order before worrying about others theres a good chap.
