Sullivan & Gold Go Carroll Singing

O little club of Sullivan
How still we see thee lie
Despite thy deep and dreaming sleep
The major stars go by
Yet in thy Green Street shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

For Moore was born of Ron Greenwood
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to Brooking
And Peace to men on earth

O dream signing of Sullivan
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born to us today
We hear the Sugo angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
Our Lord Andy Carroll!

He aint Tevez but he's just as much a fantasy signing at the end of the day!

Despite his protestations to the contrary, you can see why this would appeal to Big Sam. Aerial bombardment, here we come.

But it has to be fanciful. Firstly, unless Liverpool were prepared to pay some/most of his wages then we couldn't afford him. And if Liverpool were forced to foot the bill then why would they not keep him in the first place?
Secondly, has anyone yet asked Carroll what he thinks about this? He might just turn round and put two fingers up.

If it looks like b*llocks and sounds like b*llocks, it probably is b*llocks.

Is this Gold and Sullivan taking us for mugs again? Every transfer window they claim to be chasing big names that we have absolutely no hope of signing to increase season ticket sales. We all know what they are doing yet they continue to do so. I guess it shows the utter contemp they view us with.

What a pair of c*nts!

What a stupi waste of time. 15 m bid is a joke. Eveyone including g&s know 15m wont be taken as Carroll is worthwast more. Just stupid. Gold and Sullivan have tried this before. It's pointless and wasteful of our fans hopes and more importantly time. Next bid: modric for 10 m !!!

I agree it's probably a story based on the fact that the season tickets go on general sale on Friday but it has two things going for it. One, we have been trying to sign a striker for 6 mill. Add wages of only 20,000 per week and that's 7 mill in year one ~ andy Carroll is on 100,000 pw or 5 mill a year. Two, he shares an agent with Nolan Allerdice Tomkins and Collison ..... Who knows?
