You assume I agree with having Maynard on the wing HF? It is a sign of things to come. Allardyce will struggle to settle on his best team and best formation. This will have a disastrous effect on our season as we limp through games struggling with our broken play and lack of fluidity, trying to play on the counter but in actual fact just defending for the majority of games. If he tries to fit Noble in the team and plays people out of position like he is with Maynard, expect the above.
There are certain aspects to this beautiful game that you really don't need to over-think. Allardyce with all his technology, backroom staff and statistics tends to do this.
