That's bigger than keeping Sheffield United in the Prem - and he failed there; bigger than keeping QPR up - and they were in a relegation place when he was sacked; bigger than winning promotion with Palace - and they didn't even make the play offs; and bigger than getting Leeds into a play off position last season - and Leeds slipped down the table after Warnock was appointed! Doesn't bode well does it? In fact it sounds like Warnock is getting his excuses in early!
Meanwhile, LUST are getting all hot and sweaty in the gusset area because of lack of news about the takeover. Latest word from LUST, as reported by a Leeds blog, indicates that the delays are all down to Master Bates, with the buyers keen to press ahead but Bates playing hard to get. If true, that suggests one thing, and one thing only - that Bates wants more than the prospective buyers are prepared to pay!
So it seems there may be an impasse and if the problem is one of money, it makes you wonder about the wealth and commitment of the prospective buyers. What's a few extra million to Bahraini oil barons?
All in all, it's not been a great day for Leeds fans. What they want to hear from Warnock is that he has the squad he needs to push for promotion; instead, the old git has come over all Victor Meldrew. And talking of Victor, LUST have come just that little bit closer to declaring "I do not believe it!" in relation to the take over.
Still Master Bates is smiling in the toilet of his penthouse apartment, happy in the knowledge that he is showing a profit on this summer's transfer dealings and amused that Leeds fans have been so easily duped!

Guys, when you develop the skill of reading without sounding out the letters, you will find it takes a couple of minutes to read an article on the net.
