Green Keen To Link Up With Clarke At West Brom

Rob Green is considering turning down the host of top clubs queueing to sign him and opt for a move to West Brom instead. England's 666 isn't interested in Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea or Man Utd apparently - and given he is such a fantastic keeper the big clubs will surely be interested in him as he is available for nothing - and may well elect to link up with Clarke rather than join the mighty QPR or Southampton.

All those who have insisted that Green is a goalkeeping genius might be puzzled by the prospect of him ending up at an, at best, middle ranking club and Green himself may feel a tinge of regret about holding out for an England keeper's wage at West Ham - although his signing on fee in lieu of a transfer fee will no doubt make him feel better.

Why would Green be keen to link up with Clarke after the Scot and Zola destroyed a top ten West Ham team? Apparently the bibs always smelt nicely of lavender and the cones were placed perfectly!

There are dozens of better keepers going around. I do hope he doesnt have a change of heart and comes back.

Is our offer still on the table? Anyone know? Or is that it? Severed ties?

I think he has gone Stani. Gold certainly thinks so given his tweet.

Well that's a relief. Guy filled me with no confidence whatsoever.

Wasn't the biggest fan of Robinson, but since his international retirement, he's been impressive.
