Enough is enough, sack Allardyce NOW!

No pressure game? Cobblers. this must be the last straw that breaks the camel's back surely. Today was utterly and completely disgraceful and shameful. Never mind playing kids, the team played without pride, without spirit, without organisation and without shape. And who is to blame for that exactly?

Sullivan and Gold now have to act. If Allardyce can't motivate the likes of Jarvis and Downing to put in a shift - and neither broke sweat all afternoon despite sharing the armband - then what function does he serve?

Look at Downing. He was substituted and promptly headed down the tunnel. He was supposed to be the captain for the day, and he couldn't even be bothered to hang around to give moral support to the kids sent out to the slaughter by Allardyce. And quite how the youngsters recover from this, God only knows.

Mind you, Nolan wasn't playing because Nolan is out of control at West Ham, as two red cards in a month show. He knows he is untouchable under Allardyce, no matter how badly he plays, so why does he need to worry? And when others see that, how do they feel?

The club is now in total disarray. The owners know that you sack Allardyce at your peril, but how the hell can they continue to support him after this humiliation? It's on a par with that 6-0 League Cup semi-final hammering by Oldham for me - and we played three centre backs that day too, with the hopeless Gary Strodder drafted into the team. Mind you, even Strodder would walk into the current West Ham team.

Maiga, Downing, Jarvis - all disgraceful, and Morrison wasn't much better. We play Manchester City on Wednesday and it could end up a cricket score. No more excuses. No more whining about injuries. Downing, Maiga and Jarvis were all bought by Allardyce at a combined cost of over £20m and they couldn't be arsed today - they coasted.

Sacking Allardyce is now the only answer.

You're an idiot

Appointing warnock is the only answer now. It was a total embarrassment getting torn apart by Forest, especially given the fact that they had two Leeds rejects in their side.

Totally agree if not now when ? The whole point of a manager is to motivate your team. Today was a shamefull performance from a side that has lost its way.Di canio, Bilic, Brooking your club needs you!

The fact is its the formation that SA plays that is not working. Even with our normal first 11 we would have lost today. No energy, no desire. I am sure the Development Squad do not play this formation and be top of their division - perhaps they should have played for their usual coach. A team what ever shape has to keep that shape and move together - up and down the pitch. Again we have long balls up the pitch without the defence moving up to support them - midfield don't know whether to hold back or push forward - lust like every week.

I couldn't agree more. Everyone on the pitch was walking around all game letting them pass the ball at will. I cannot remember one player trying to chase/close someone down. It was the most pathetic display I have ever seen from our club. I've said from day one that Maiga is useless, Downing isn't much better. Jarvis has his days but we paid well over the odds for him and he will not live up to it. I agree that Carroll (when fit) is a great player, but he is no use to us being injured half a season. Sam has to go now and bring someone new in to freshen up the squad while they still can to give us a fighting chance and who can create a goal without hitting and hoping every time.

I can't believe the reaction to this, its pathetic and immature.

Allardyce basically said we can't compete in the FA Cup this year due to injuries so put out a youth team and clearly told the 1st team players to take it easy any not risk injuries. The youth team players were all played out of position so that they could be played.

Allardyce out? Really? I'm glad he did this as we don't want the FA cup games interfering with the Premier League. Plus we can now concentrate on giving the league cup a go on Wednesday.

So is it A: Allardyce out or B: Alardyce the best manager we can get, doing the best thing for the club.

It's clearly option B!!

So stop crying like a baby and get on with your life.

This game didn't matter and everybody knows it. As long as everyone is fresh for Cardiff, we get a win and pull in Ricky Lambert from Soton we will be fine.

How about doing something outrageous like sing and chant really loud and try to lift the team at home !

I agree sack Allardyce, bring in Warnock!

So Sam is saving his best players for the Man City game, what will be the excuse when we get thrashed and we will. Get him out now before we get humiliated again, he's a bloody disgrace. Where's the pride gone Irons ???

No, lets keep Sam, its those in the background who are calling the shots, Sullivan is the one to go along with that bitch Brady, what does she know about running a premier league team, lets get more United nation people in

In terms of man management look no further than Neil Warnock. Do you think he would have let Downing walk off down the tunnel like that? Its clear - Allardyce out Warnock in. Let's put a smile back on that crying little kiddies face!

Can't believe Warnock would be any better than BFS. It no good waiting until the transfer window shuts to give Allardyce the sack. It'll be too late again. The owners need to act now if they've got any feeling for the club.

Umm the game may not of mattered, but that doesn't justify losing 5-0 to a average team. Even with our youth team. We barely even threatened. Our players and staff should be ashamed.

What about BOTH options A and B, 1437? Let's get rid of Allardyce and bring in Warnock with a completely identical philosophy and approach to the game. If it ain't broke don't fix it, eh??

The only way west ham can give man city a damn good thrashing is to sack sam and bring in warnock and jepson.

he's got the tactical prowess of a stuffed cabbage, Zola should never of been sacked and given full backing instead of open tabloid votes on non confidense by newly appointed owners, Zola is the man to resurrect the attractive style of play we crave, BFS OUT and take Nolan with you

An average team!!!!???? We played the apparent hammers off the pitch!!!! Up the tricky trees!!!

pardew is the man for us
