Half Time Crystal Palace 1 West Ham 0 - Pathetic!

This is disgraceful. This is a dire Palace team and they have been playing dire football for 45 minutes but we go in a goal behind for the same old reason, we can't score.

We were as much in control in that half as we were in the first 45 against Norwich, but there's no point in dominating if you can't put the bloody ball in the net. Now, if anyone can explain the logic of starting Diame wide and leaving Joe Cole on the bench, I would love to hear it. We know why, of course, to accommodate Captain Kev, but Diame is half the player when pinned to the left flank, and Cole is twice the creative threat of Nolan and Diame combined.

So, Allardyce needs to move on. He needs to see that Nolan is not now his best option. We saw the best available team in the second half against Fulham, and the team included Downing, Cole, Morrison, Noble and Diame in midfield because that midfield is balanced and that team poses problems for an opposition defence.

What threat did we offer in that first 45? Cole nearly set up Downing and Nolan missed a great opportunity from a carbon copy of the free kick .he failed to convert against Spurs. This Palace team are there for the taking, but only if you have players with the ability to score.

Verdict on team selection and that first 45? Pathetic.

Full time pathetic too. Only Jussi showed effort. We are going down with this can't shoot when passing around is more fun lot. Tactics, none. Transfers, don't. We need a new team with some grit that cares. They are a disgrace of BFS making.

Only one comment allardyce needs to go and so do the board if they will not find funds for some better players

Pathetic! Indeed! You just know that when we go behind, we lose the game. End of story with Sam's teams. I don't have the footballing genius brain to understand why Sam insists playing Diame wide. As far as the goal we conceded is concerned, totally pathetic! Nolan gives the ball away, and Noble changes his mind as he comes off the line and decides to step back and leave Chamakh on his own for a free header. The same goes for Nolan too.

I am sorry, but I can't accept having 60% possession against the worst team in the PL and failing to score. Although to be honest we have scored a perfectly good goal which disallowed.

We will need a lot of luck to remain above the relegation zone by the end of the year. That is what I am asking Santa for this Xmas. I just hope it doesn't arrive too late...

We lost, again, because of Allardyce's allegiance to Nolan. El Capitan failed an unmissable one (Noble delivery), and then failed miserably in his defence positioning on Chamakh's goal, even falling on the floor like a clumsy grandmother.

Second half made more sense, but of course Palace cheered up, closed angles, and that was that.

yeah I could see where this one was going .. turned over to watch I'm a celebrity at half time.. we'll need a storming second half of the season to avoid squeaky bum time come April. It is so frustrating because our midfield and defence are as strong as any outisde the prize contenders and we need Euorpe next season like a hole in the head. this season should have been about consolidation not damage limitation. As you know I am an Alladyce fan but the Carroll strategy was such a clanger.. whatever else he has done for the club, and he has achieved much on limited resources, he'll have to go if we go down.

Come on then, get on with it, post your full time report then. Your last FT post inspired a total of one comment from a doting admirer, such is your gravitas amongst your own supporters.

Awww..Is he sulking??? Just like in the Norwich game a half time blog was posted, then when things went 'Tits up' for the Sad Hammers, he's run away to the sandpit without bothering to do the full time blog.
Perhaps there's a lesson for him here. Stop doing the half time blogs, you only upset yourself.
Oh and in case you're not following things from the sandpit, Leeds won and are no longer in the spot you gloated about predicting they will finish in.

i will tell you what is pathetic...................................your excuse for not going further than your sofa to watch a game..........i mean how many relatives have come to an untimely death in the last 12 months?

It speaks volumes that three days later you still can't bear to post your full time so-called match report. Typical plastic fan, throwing his toys out of the pram when Big Sam's Cockney Wanderers lose. It's becoming an increasingly common occurrence.

You're of your head mate - you should be thankful - Sam got us out of the championship and the David's steadied the ship and saved us from financial meltdown - Sam'll keep us up - what more do you want? #prat

Like a sulky little boy who's taken his ball away simply because the game's not gone his way - very predictable (I guessed you'd be gone in a matter of weeks) and not very crazy really, is it? Still, glad to see the back of you, knowing that if you do ever bother making a post again, it will be with even less credibility than that knob who used to run "The Game's Gone Crazy," and that's saying something! Love & Kisses! :-)
