Zola's Watford Sinking Fast

So Watford sit fifth from bottom in the Championship, just two points above a relegation place. It is early days of course, but Watford's struggles are unsurprising for West Ham fans who witnessed Zola's incompetence at Upton Park.

He is a nice guy, no denying that, but sadly he does not have what it takes to manage a football club. He may be a great coach - he certainly seemed to bring out the best from Cole - but when it comes to tactics and selecting a team, he is sadly clueless.

How long will he keep the job? Well for as long as he nods his head politely to every demand of the Pozzo family. Who knows if Watford matter to the Italians, or if they are using the club as a finishing school and a shop window for young prospects and the 'not quite up to its'.

The hope is that Zola will polish rough diamonds and make them sparkle amongst so much paste. But everybody should note what happened to Diamante and Daprela at Upton Park. One was used inappropriately and went on to get international caps for Italy after he left, and the other was destroyed by Zola's decision to use him only in games against the big five.

The Pozzos don't want to be relegated but is that the limit of their aspirations? Indeed promotion could be a handicap to a plan to use Watford as a nursery.

I don't disagree about being a finishing school. But to say they don't want promotion is just silly. If we finish ten half, will you be blogging an "I was wrong" article?

Any Watford fans want to meet up at hfs mams house for a gang bang with his mam? She's affectionately called bucket fanny amongst us Leeds fans.

As a West Ham fan I would love Sean Dyche as a coach at Upton Park because he improved Watford a million times, now they are a million times worse under Zola who should be on the Dola.

Why don't you go away and blow bubbles and report on your own bloody team.

If we wanted your opinion someone would ask for it, they haven't .... so take the hint.

Here he comes back with another post about Watford. Go away and worry about your own team. Watford are doing fine thanks.

At first I was unsure but this must be a wind up. Surely no one can really think that "promotion would get in the way of what they are trying to achieve". I get it you don't rate Zola and you don't like Nani but a bit of research on the Pozzo's would be a good idea before you spout more drivel.

Thats why his father deserved to die,for siring a piece of shit like hf.

I think anyone who reads this blog should really show some sympathy towards the clear mental health issues of the author.

Lines like the one about not wanting to be promoted and the ongoing sad fascination with a club he has no knowledge or insight into point subconsciously to someone deeply unhappy with very little love or indeed normal human interaction in his life.

So in summary please don't pick on his pathetic factual inaccuracies and obsessions but simply show some sympathy and join me in hoping he gets the counselling and support he needs soon.

The down side of this ?? Having to hear hf doing doggy in his bed room. That poor terrier!!

No wonder the 'Ammers signature song is I'm forever blowing bubbles; because if this joker is a typical example of an 'Ammers fan,you must draw most of your fan base from the nut house, which would explain why you lot are for ever blowing bubbles, as most residents of a nut house sit there dribbling all day!

Zola was without doubt a useless manager at WHU. He's very good at grinning and smiling for the cameras though. As for Watford, who cares ? Only their fans....but that little crew they have 'running' their club were crap at WHU and seemingly now repeating the debacle at Watford.

Keep up the windups HF - football 'fans' are prime examples of blind idiocy.

I'm Forvever blowing bubble,s West Ham,s signature tune played at the Olympics,oh and we play all the way for Weeds United and Watford,s "going down",do not remember them but of course both your crap clubs have never won the World Cup for England, where as we have, tough titties, hey Mugs!

Zola did a fine job, just didn't have a chance or the money. Big Sam will come good though, have faith.

It's an interesting point of view.

Dyche did very well under difficult circumstances. ie the club having no money. This was not sustainable. Without a change in ownership it possible the existence of the club was in jeopardy.

The Pozzo era is exciting for us, whilst probably the majority of the fans would have liked Dyche to have been kept on, it's the owners prerogative to choose their own manager. It will be a steep learning curve as the championship is a very different league to that which they are used to. A year of consolidation without the threat of bankruptcy and we'll be happy. The potential returns for the Pozzos if WFC become a stable premiership club probably outweigh those possible from their other teams. In the longer term things are looking OK.

Unlike HF's Leeds obsession, what's happening at Watford has some relevance to West Ham as Zola, Nani and Duxbury are all there and as we all know they loused up at West Ham a few years ago.

This excellent article in the Mail sums it all up perfectly.

Couldn't agree more with your thoughts on Zola, but I can't believe the Pozzos wouldn't want a piece of the Premiership pie.

In the Championship we're probably fair game for accusations of being a nursery club, but should we get promotion, we'll be a priority destination for the best players on their books.

I doubt you really care what happens to us.

Lets just wait and see.

Some points might be valid.

I really hope the personal and rather nasty attacks are taken back by people, as some of them are really un called for. If you get wound up etc have an argument and debate, dont go around saying really unnecessary stuff.

HF is talking from experience as what happened at our club and all the tale tale signs are that the same is happening there.

Gonna luv ramming your stupid ramblings down your throat, infact up to 11th, I can now! Just enjoy your own team, thet are doing well, in case you havent noticed.

Smeg if you're a Watford fan and think we're a finishing school then you're as bad as him mate. Dear oh dear.

Zola wasn't useless at West Ham btw, and to say 'Watford, who cares, only their fans' is a hilariously ignorant and pathetic comment. Not doing your fans' reputation for being loud and brainless any favours.
