Offering Warnock A Helping Hand? You Cannot Be Serious!

So Freddie Sears may be heading for Crystal Palace! The irony of us entrusting a prized asset to the care of Neil Warnock is irresistible! Is this our way of settling Warnock's compo claim perhaps, gifting Old Big Knob a player who will shoot the Eagles into the Premier League?

Is Warnock really the man to develop Freddie? I can't think of anybody, except for Big Spam, Megson and Curbishley, who is further away from the West Ham and Zola philosophy on the game. Ball on the ground, neat interchanging of passes, a focus on ball retention, developing skills...is Neil Warnock really your man? I suppose it is a way of avoiding Sears having his leg broken in a game against Palace but, beyond that, I'm struggling to follow the logic. Maybe it is so he feels at home, playing in claret and blue, or perhaps the primary concern is to keep him in London.

Personally, I'd rather see him entrusted to West Brom where they play the game in the right way, even if it means relegation. Surely, if he is that good, the goal shy Baggies would love him?

West Ham helping out Warnock? It's kind of like the Americans arming Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden. Oh, hang on, that happened didn't it? Funny old world isn't it?

Lending Freddie to Warnock feels like entrusting your teenage son to the Catholic Church to me. Would you be happy for Neil to get his smutty paws on our kid striker?

For once i agree with you. Colin is a complete toss pot who deserves nothing from us. Please can you answer 1 question though. Why do you not go to the games at upton park????

Hammersfan said...

I've answered that on the Lucash Neil post. Keep up!

By the way, who is Colin?

Well hammers fan Neil warnock is also known as colin as the anagram of his name is Colin Wanker.

OK then lets test your knowledge. Whos gonna win hammer of the year then hammers so called fan

LOL That's not a test of knowledge, that is an opinion. Knowledge is facts and even the thickos in 4c in A Kestrel For a Knave have a lesson on the difference between facts and opinions. You need to go back to school fast!

If you want my opinion on who should win Hammer of the Year, I will nominate Carlton Cole. We have looked twice the side when he has played, he is our leading scorer, he has tucked away our goal of the season, he has developed from an also ran into an England player and he has played through pain.

If not Cole, I would go for the ever present and very consistent Ilunga.

Third choice Upson, a rock in defence.

Fourth pick Green.

Fifth, Lucas.

Who do I think will win? Green or Upson. Why? I think it will appear very black and white to some and when the margins are close, that can be a key factor in an Essex constituency!

Alright guys, Im a Palace fan and although you guys have a lot of right to hate Warnock, cos, lets face, most people do. But Sears wouldn't just be coached by Warnock, remember that. Curle, Issott, and Moss have helped develop a string of players into arguably premiership quality at the young ages of 17 and 18 (Moses, Scannell, Clyne) while others like Watson (under the same back room staff) has developed into a great player for Wigan.

I know Warnock's a tool but Sears could learn a lot from playing in such a combative league as a regular starter. I think it'll benefit him in his development and ultimately you in the long term.

Warnock deserves nothing from us other than rightous derision. I have to say by the way Hammersfan, even though I don't agree with your views all the time; I am getting a little tired of these 'fans' that comment just to abuse you. You are taking your time to write articles about West Ham reguarly and are clearly a massive fan & these guys need to take a look in the mirror. Are we not all 'ammers together? Christ! Its not like we don't have enough enemies! Leave one of our own alone for christs sake!

Good point from the palace fan in Peace. You have a great youth set up there and if you ignore silly bollox warnock freddie could well benifit from being there with that coaching. Actually the move might be a good idea

Cheers 2019.

To the Palace fan - you make a valid point but...well it IS Warnock!

We need to remember that it is Warnock we dislike, not Palace. And as much as fellow would Ham fans would want to slap me for saying this, he would still be a prem manager if blah blah blah. I like Palace, and for that reason (Debrah Meadon voice) i would loan to them.

Hammersfan said...

I quite like Palace too but not as much as QPR. He could go there. Or Reading. Any Warnock free zone!

I've got nothing against Palace but I wouldn't piss on Warnock if he was on fire, for the things he has said about WHU.

Let Warnock have Sears on loan on one condition.

That he unreservedly withdraws all previous comments that he has made against West Ham in the last two years. He apologises on Sky and in the newspapers.

Then let him have Freddie Sears on loan because like others on this site, I think he would do quite well at Palace.
