Spurs Bid For Olympic Stadium
Hopefully it is just a gun to hold to the local council's head to force them into caving in to Tottenham's ground expansion application but who knows? Perhaps, with the recession biting, Tottenham fancy saving money. Renting a fully built, fully equipped stadium may seem like a better option than building a new one. Then they can keep all that lovely Champions League money in a nice big vault and look at it every day!
Of course, it might be a way of squeezing a rival out of business too. Move into their territory, reduce prices, steal the natural West Ham fan base...
I can't wait for Sullivan's rant! And after Noble and Parker dressed up in suits to submit our application yesterday!
