Well it was just more of the same really, no improvement in any respect. Our players are just going through the motions. The match ended up like a nightmare. Like West Ham I feel very, very down.
Yeah, maybe, I am feeling down, it happened as soon as I saw the team sheet but your player ratings are not that high for a team supposedly fighting for its premiership existence. Maybe its the heat we are enduring here in the south east, would have loved some of that Chelsea rain.
Whilst the result was no shock, the scoreline flattered them. They took their chances; we didn't. That is the difference between a top side and a bottom side I am afraid. Our most dangerous striker was Ba yet Grant chose to instruct him to mark Ivanovic and left Cole up front. Poor management. Cole is hopeless at holding the ball up and does not get his shots away when he can. Simply NOT a top striker. Ba was wasted out wide yet terrorised the Chelsea defence. Da Costa is a Championship defender at best whose only passing option seems to be to hoof it up to a front player. His concentration levels are poor too. We need to keep clean sheets to have any chance of staying up but having to constantly change the back four will not achieve that. Bridge cannot play against his parent club on Sunday so now we have no left back at all! Great planning Avram. We are lucky Bridge has not picked up an injury since he joined us. More luck than judgement methinks
Let's hope we can beat Blackburn, Sunderland and Wigan and that the other teams around us fair worse than us. If not we will be playing Millwall next season

So who would you have put on for Noble?
Torres scored. We're going down Fanno :( There is no hope. we're pathetic.

1916, Boa.
Kareem, don't be soft. We were always going to lose this by three goals or more.
Think you're being harsh John.
