Fernandes Turns Off Transfer Tap At QPR

Has Fernandes blown his wad? He's stepping back in Formula 1 and has now said that there will be no splurge of money in the January transfer window. The Malaysian West Ham fan pointedly says that Hughes has "a good enough squad" and complains, "We’ve made a lot of changes and brought in a lot of players over the past three transfer windows." That must make awkward reading for Hughes.

Now, it will be "a little bit of business rather than a massive amount" in January, irrespective of where QPR are in the table. It seems as if Fernandes is getting bored with his plaything and is fed up of chucking money down the drain.

The trouble is, this QPR squad is not good enough as results so far this season have shown. Warnock and Hughes have assembled a bunch of mediocre mercenaries who, now they have secured contracts, don't give a toss about the club, the manager nor the long suffering gRs.

QPR escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth last season but your luck runs out eventually. If Fernandes isn't willing to buy them safety, QPR look a very good bet to slip through the relegation trap door, with or without 'Arry!

A warning to many,

Not bad HF, 8 days into the month and 3 actual Hammers posts versus 17 others (surely Celtic is worth a mention after last night). Maybe your usual negativity can't take the optimistic start we've made!

Optimistic start? City were saving themselves for Ajax when we drew on Saturday, fat lot of good it did them though. I'm worried about Newcastle though. Caroll will freeze like he did for liverpool up there and it could be bad for the irons.

I think your a wanker!! Simple, if west ham didnt have noble or nolan you would be fucked!! 2 players carry your team mate!

Oh dear why don;t you just concentrate on your own club, oh well you will just have to carry on watching a former Bolton, Blackburn and Newcastle managers tactics week in and week out before he gets the sack and the hammers return to playing championship football where they belong if all their supporters are any think like yourself.
