Redknapp will be sitting at home in a Reading kit tomorrow, praying for yet another humiliating QPR reverse. He's rejected Blackburn. He's rejected Ipswich. He doesn't really fancy the Championship and doesn't want to move up north either. QPR fits the bill perfectly, and with Fernandes in charge, 'Arry will reckon on having money to blow signing his own men.
Surely Hughes couldn't survive a defeat at home to struggling Reading? His team have looked low on confidence and short on ability all season - and after all the money Fernandes has frittered, that must be a huge disappointment.
Warnock made it through to January but Redknapp wasn't available then. Hughes will know he is drinking in the last chance saloon in this one. And Redknapp will raise a glass to him if QPR stumble again!
A draw would suit me though!
