Shocking news is emanating from Stamford Bridge, Chelsea do NOT have any wish to sign Robert Green. A spokesman for the club said, "This is a desperate attempt by an internet forum to whip up hits by spreading scare stories."
He continued, "Why would we buy Green? Like Cech, he is vulnerable under crosses and he isn't even England's first choice in a very average crop of English qualified keepers. If we need a new keeper, with Abromovitch's billions, we will not buy British!"
To emphasise the point, the spokesman added, "The article goes on to say that if Chelsea weren't interested, other clubs might be. This is a heartless attempt to undermine the morale of West Ham fans and the author should hang his head in shame."

LOL What's sad, writing an article to put the record straight, or concocting an invented story to try to compete with the volume of articles of merit appearing on here? Perhaps Nev should allow others to post articles on his front page as he seems to be struggling to produce one worthwhile article a day. That isn't surprising in the circumstances - the guy has got a lot on his plate. Knocking out an article a day must be the last thing on the bloke's mind. Still, the org only used to produce one a week, this daily output is a very recent phenomenon, provoked perhaps by perceived competition? I think we can compliment each other actually. If Nev likes, I will carry a link for the org on here.

I put the name of this blog up (fairly innocuously I thought) on a post I made on the .org and Neville decided that he had to edit it out. He really does appear to be excessively anxious about it. What was it that he was on about the other day … speaking with News Now about you and your blog or something? Or was it the lawyers ….. oh yeah, that's right, the lawyers too - he was going to set the lawyers onto you.
I know Bill. I am not that generous as it happens but I enjoyed the banter at the org and would genuinely like to see it back to its best. Maybe it will pick up when del returns. The abuse being left on here by anonymous orgers is a little sad but there you go, I think it says more about them than me. As for Nev, I hope he reflects and sees that the two sites can happily co-exist. I don't mind him having witty swipes at me - it is all part of the game - but threats to get this site removed from News Now seemed a little spiteful or silly, depending on whether it was genuine or a petulant spat. I wish the guy well.

Mate, anybody with half a brain will know that this is a spoof. Do you really think a Chelsea spokesman would comment on the nonsense ran in the "Chelsea Want Green" article. Let's reverse things round, let's say I had made up the original story. How would orgsters have reacted? I would have been called a Spud for inventing stories that would unsettle our squad. The author of the original article should be ashamed IMO!
At the end of the day its the time of year when transfer rumours spread like wild fire but with the same outcome as chinese whispers, one persons hears something and all of a sudden someone has a contact in a club that has told them an offer has been made.
It was the same in December with us but no fire sale happened, now with Upson and Green, two of our best players not yet putting pen to paper (maybe becuase discussions haven't opened) there will be hundreds of rumours flying around about them. Look at the Liverppol take over thats been happening for the past 4 years, or Ronaldo's move to Real Madrid, its all hear say and not the Gareth Gates or Mylene Klass kind.
But at the end of the day rumours will happen as it gives us football fans something to talk about, no one knows where they originate, but this just out lines your army or (Klan) against .org. Will you post all the nonsense about West Ham from footballrumours.com on here? No.

Maybe you should concentrate on your own site as you have people on here that prefer this site, but leave .org, its only you that understands your hate for it, but this does go to show that you really can't lose a chip on your shoulder. You don't like the site anymore, you don't like the people that post on there any more, everyone gets it, so just like my dad should have done with mum during my conception pull out before its too late.

It must be Wrighty! Assuming it is you Wrighty, I have an issue with a West Ham site making up a rumour about one of our players leaving. I expect it of the red tops, independent web sites, rival fans sites, etcetera; but one calling itself westhamfans.org? With fans like that, who needs enemies? Any West Ham site inventing and spreading unfounded rumours like that will receive the same level of ridicule from me. It isn't personal, except for the fact that supporting West Ham is very personal for me. I don't hate the mordant org, if I did, why would I offer to carry a link for it? Seems to me that you guys are in a bit of a tizzy as you see numbers declining by the week and the quality of debate nosediving. You keep coming on here to debate with me it is so bad over there!
