With the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as the Chelsea manager, it is time to set aside our sense of rivalry and cheer the Plastics on to European glory. Why? Well if Ancelotti does well and keeps his job, the likelihood of either Zola or Clarke defecting back to their second love recedes significantly. Personally, I would let Abromovitch buy his chamber pot just as long as it helps us retain our management team.
Sad as it will be for Swansea, I also hope that Celtic get their man. Before the appointment of Zola, indeed back in the Dark Ages of Turds, I was tipping Martinez as a man who would go to the top and suggested that we might consider him. The Celtic job would obviously be tempting for Clarke, should he be offered it, so, again, let's hope that temptation is moved out of reach. Mind you, Wigan are also after the Swansea boss and that might be bad news for us if he is as good as I suspect. We could do with Wigan appointing a mug.
And talking of mugs, Blunderland have excelled in the appointment of Bruce. I am still awaiting a stream of apologies from Blunderland fans who called me an idiot when I blogged that Bruce was their first choice. The delicious irony of a Newcastle fan managing Sunderland will make the reception committee from the fans interesting. Perhaps Bruce should wear a black and white scarf as he turns up to meet the Wearysiders for the first time!

Why slag off Curbishley? He played for and managed the club.
1214, he walked out on the club when a player, demanding a transfer when we were relegated - just like Defoe. After he left, he criticised John Lyall, Trevor Brooking and Alan Devonshire, three West Ham legends, and claimed BIRMINGHAM were a BIGGER club! He twice turned down opportunities to manage his "beloved" West Ham and only took the job when out of work. Even then, he haggled so much over his wages that he arrived too late to prepare the team for the Man Utd game, which we won. He then led us on a disastrous run which saw us all but relegated. His preferred playing style was anathema to all Hammers fans, he pissed a fortune up the wall with his absurd player purchases and he is currently suing the club after he quit because we sold McCartney for an incredible £6m and replaced him with the much better Ilunga for a fraction of that. Enough reasons?
I suppose you're more of a Pardew or Roeder man. Each to there own i suppose. My own are West Ham people.

West Ham relegated. - West Ham fans have finished third from bottom of the "best fans" league and consequently drop into the championship. Your season ticket price remains the same, but match day stewards have been instructed to dispense with their finely honed inter personal skills and treat the fans like second class citizens. All hostelries within a one mile radius of Upton Park will be barred from serving anything stronger than fizzy pop.

1701, for your information, Roeder's and Curbishley's win, draw and lose ratios are almost exactly the same whilst in charge of West Ham. I am no fan of Roeder but the RECORDS show that Curbishley was just as bad! And at least we played football under Roeder, not LUMP IT AND CHARGE!

And by the way, Curbishley ain't West Ham, his family maybe, but not him. Hasn't been for years, he is Charlton through and through. Which is what he tried to turn West Ham into.

6. Reckon N'Gala, Payne,Hines and the icelandic kid whose name I can' t remember, be nice to see Terry 'we have the technology to rebuild him' Dixon. Also like to see the young goalie Stech(?) step up to the plate. Fed up about worrying that Green is gonna do a bunk every time the transfer window beckons.
