Hull & Burnley Start Life In Championship With Wins

And the importance of that? Well it indicates just how easy it is down there! Remember, apart from when they played each other, these two sides couldn't buy a victory over the final quarter of last season. Now, first game up, and they both collect 3 points from comfortable victories.

If I supported Newcastle or West Brom, never mind Blackpool who are doomed anyway, I would be worried; very worried. Both teams arrive with their own equivalents of Zola in charge, rookie managers who have not yet tasted guiding a team through the trials and tribulations of a Premiership season. And both teams arrive back with sides not hugely different from the ones that they were relegated with, not so very long ago.

Both sets of supporters will have convinced themselves that everything will be different this time around but I can't see why personally. I predict a season of struggle for all three promoted clubs this year.

Also think Sunderland, Bolton and Wolves will struggle this season and so will we if we can't score more goals

How bizarre - Burnley's win was far from easy. I hope you enjoy this season in the EPL.
