O'Neill Quits With Perfect Sense of Timing

It's beginning to look as if Avram has bought that lucky sprig of heather that Turds declined to buy when he rocked up for the first time as manager. Has the gypsy curse been expunged at long last?

The resignation of O'Neill has echoes of Big Spam's resignation from the Bolton job in the week before we played them during the Great Escape. Bolton arrived at the Boleyn under Mini-Me-Sammy-Lee and in a state of disarray - and Noble and Tevez had a field day.

Mark Hughes will be choking on his leeks when he hears the news. He jumped at the Fulham job; had he waited a week, Villa would have suited him down to the ground!

Who will take over at Villa? I'd have a punt on the USA manager as Lerner decides to keep it in the family, so to speak. But in the meantime, there will be all sorts of angst around Villa Park and you can bet your life that the vultures will be circling around Ivebonkedawhore and Young. The unrest obviously doesn't guarantee a Hammers victory but it must hugely increase our chances!

wet spam couldn't beat an egg let alone a much bigger club like villa.

if the rumours are true the Villa players are very pleased to see the back of him which could be bad for us
