Throw the Bloody Book at Ferguson!

It won't happen of course, but the authorities should throw the book at Fergie for his latest outburst, designed solely to intimidate officials in the upcoming Mancs matches. Ferguson stopped just short of calling Referee Atkinson a cheat, but only just, when he moaned,

"It was a major game for both clubs and you want a fair referee. You want a strong referee anyway and we didn’t get that. I don’t know why he’s got the game. I must tell you, I must say that when I saw who was refereeing, I feared the worst.”

How the hell Ferguson, of all people, can complain about biased referees is beyond me! He witnessed the award of that absurd Nani goal by Clattenbung. He saw how Neville was allowed to stay on the field at Stoke after scything down Etherington when already on a yellow card. He saw the failure to award West Brom a penalty after Neville took out Dorrans from behind, deep in the penalty box. He saw the way Rooney was allowed to remain on the field after elbowing a Wigan player. He might also remember how Vidic wasn't sent off in the League Cup final last year!

What does Ferguson mean by a "fair referee" exactly? A referee biased in favour of the Mancs perhaps? No wonder he feared the worst when he saw that Atkinson had been awarded the game! "Where's Clattenburg?" he probably demanded. "What do we pay the guy for if he isn't in charge of our important games? And where the Hell is my mate Webby? Somebody get Webby on the bloody blower and find out what exactly he is up to on the night! We didn't measure him up for that shirt for nothing! Atkinson? Bloody Atkinson! He isn't even on our payroll!"

I think every team gets bad decisions, INCLUDING Man Utd. I wish our manager would do more of what Fergy does. Maybe then we would be out of the relegation zone.
