Upson an "Injury Doubt" for Arsenal. Duxbury Strikes Again!

Oh dear God, how stupid do they think we are? Upson is apparently an "injury doubt". Nothing to do with Man City and Tottenham making it through to the Fourth Round and not wanting the guy cup tied of course. Perish the thought! What sort of fiendish mind would come up with an idea like that? As if the club would deceive the fans so outlandishly! The club that has been telling everybody how seriously we are taking the game whilst trying to persuade fans to part with their hard earned cash!

I mean, people will be suggesting next that Duxbury knew before the August window closed that Ashton would never kick a ball again! People will also start to suspect that we were never in the market for Chamakh, Toni, Balotteli and co, that it was all a huge smoke screen to stop the fans getting uppity and to support the sale of season tickets. Dear God, people will start believing that mug Hammersfan next, that tosser who has been telling everybody that Duxbury has been taking the fans for mugs. As if!

I never heard anything about an injury to Upson. Do you not think that there is a small chance that key players may be rested today because of some crucial and valuable six pointers coming up, no? P/L survival is far more paramount than this years F.A.Cup.

Once again, another pointless article

Is that right Rick? Why have you responded to it then?

Yes, it will be interesting to see who plays this afternoon. If Upson is missing we will fear the worst. Stranger things have happened, but with the known current injury list, it is difficult to fancy our chances against the Arsenal today, whatever team plays. The priority must be the league with the "six pointer" against Wolves up next so it would be sensible to rest our key players, and hope Arsenal do the same.

On another note the Daily Mirror are reporting,(hopefully accurately for once), that the Gold-Sullivan deal is on the brink of being completed. Like them or not, they are wealthy business men, experienced at running a football club, have local roots and a passion for West Ham! Much better than other possible known options, so let's hope this happens and the club starts 2010 with some stability. There are some minus points as well such as their ages and likely retirement dates. Also David Gold was not best pleased with Upson when he agreed to leave Birmingham and sign for us. Perhaps the writing is on the wall...

'Oh dear God, how stupid do they think'.... hammersfan is?

You talk like a Totts fan at times ie you think that you know it all when, in fact, you know very little and are often so very very wrong. I hope the Totts follow your lead hammersfan.

So how was it for you ;)

I think the best comment about this came from the match commentators when they pointed out that this time last year Upson was rested, Bellamy played and guess which one was sold...? Thus proving all these little conspiracy theories are indeed just theories.

Upson staying depends on us having owners by the close of the window, not the FA Cup...

LOL Shame he did play. Eduardo would never have outjumped Da Costa!

Personally, I reckon Duxbury read my artical and thought, "Shit, Hammersfan is on to me!" ; ]

Chalk this down as one I got wrong guys. Keep count. I've got a lot more right than wrong so far!
