Zola's Heroes Plan Open Top Bus Tour As Hull Are Relegated

With news that Hull have been relegated after a draw at Wigan, plans are being made for Zola's heroes to make an open top bus tour of Newham. Initially there were worries about how all the players of Hull, Burnley and Portsmouth could be accommodated on the one bus but then somebody came up with the idea of giving each club a bus of their own. So, typically, after waiting all season for a bus, three come along at the same time!

I'll get my coat!

What a relief. There is nothing GZ can do now to get us relegated. Even if he plays Spector, yet again.

Portsmouth, Burnley and Hull self destroyed and thus Zola kept West Ham up. Any other year, we would have been down by long distance.

that actually made me laugh a proper good hearty laugh even more than the suggestion that Upson should captain England just in case

I hear that Gold & Sullivan have been somewhat mystified by all the despondency around the talk of “going down”. Apparently it’s a fairly regular occurrence in their industry and no one has complained before now.

Though given their history of sowing misinformation, you may find this hard to swallow.

It's all over bar the shouting! Personally, I'm surprised AND relieved!?

I'm surprised that Mr Wigan (DW) didn't instruct his players to ship as many goals as possible, thus reducing Ull's goal diff deficit....
But I'm relieved that Wigan did manage to bag a late leveller, as Liverpool have shown before that they can't be arsed turning up on the last day of the season and I wouldn't have put it beyond Ull to have spanked them 22-0. There would be no Stevie G as he'll be in Spain looking at houses!

On the news it said that the Irish Evel Knieval has just broken the world record of jumping over 22 motorbikes in an open top double decker bus. He said, 'I would have done more, but halfway over, someone rang the bell.'
